Dash stands to his feet and delivers his toast, but as he stands he can feel an incredible uneasiness in his stomach. He may be able to stand just fine but his motor skills are not as quick as they once were, and his speech seems a bit slurred and slow. Luther stands at first a bit wobbly as well at first after 5 drinks, "To the Rocket Rangers, and the Solar System!"

Luther and Dash head down to a truck to drive down to Roosevelt Station, Luther is going to meet some new recruits. And Dash will be free to wander the station and city that has sprung up around it. On the drive over Luther mentions that many small sections from other nations have sprung up. There is a embassy and district for UK settlers, Brazilian settlers, French settlers, Italian, and even German and Japanese settlers. So it has really become a multicultural settlement. There are even a few Europans, and various Martians from the various castes. The Julandri are the most numerous who now work for pay for the UVMC or other wildcatters, some natives work the ore fields as well. And others still are from the higher castes of Mars fleeing the growing Communist movement of the Ebb revolution among the lower castes.

One point stands out though. Luther mentions a bar on the outskirts called Old Toole's the owner is quite familiar with many wildcatters and the problems that face Venus.
