Arveene leaps atop the barrels and steadies herself. Then she whisper a discordant melody to one of the ruffians. The man shrieks in pain and immediately drops his weapon as his hands cover his head. Unable to escape, the man crouches into the corner.

Uttering a short invocation, Sasha outstretches an upraised palm at one of their foes, sending forth a blast of eldritch energy.
Eldritch Blast at R3. Rolling at a +5 for 1d10+3 ^_^

Lorenzo motions his hands and utters some arcane phrase releasing a bolt of fire from his fingertips. The bolt flies under the table and hits the ruffian hiding in the corner recovering from Sasha's spell. His bolt knocks the man unconscious.
Lorenzo
Firebolt at R1
Ranged attack: d20 + 5 = 14+5 = 19
vs R1 (half-cover, crouched under/behind table and chair in corner)
19 vs (14 +2 AC )= 16 *success*
Dmg = 1d10 = 6
Sasha takes sight on another ruffian and weaves her magic. A beam of crackling energy shoots forth from her hands at the Redbrand thug. The beam shoots straight, but the inebriated man is somehow able to sway his body just enough to avoid the impact.
Sasha
Eldritch Blast at R3
Ranged attack: d20 + 5 = 1 + 5 = 6
vs R3
6 vs (14 AC) = *miss*
R1 (poisoned) 16 hp - 6 = 10 hp
R2 (poisoned) 16 hp -
R3 (poisoned) 16 hp -
R4 (poisoned) 16 hp - 13 = 3 hp

Grogg moves forward confidently, taking point while swinging with his sword.
Confused by your Accounting. R4 got Dissonant Whispered, and R1 was Firebolted. But all the damage was applied to R4 in the HP. But the Map says R1 is unconscious. Clarify?

If going with what they declared, finish off R4 since he got that psychic damage. If we're just downing R4 by concentrating on him, then attack R3 instead.

Grogg steps forward with his scimitar in hand. Slashing across the wounded ruffian, his scimitar cuts deep enough into the man's stomach to knock him unconscious. As he falls to the floor, the other three men take a breath and prepare to respond.
Grogg vs r4
hit = d20 + 5 = 18 + 5 = 23 *hit*
dmg = 1d6+3 = 1 + 3 = 4
Now, R4 is really unconscious
R1 (poisoned) 16 hp - 6 = 10 hp
R2 (poisoned) 16 hp -
R3 (poisoned) 16 hp -
R4 (poisoned) 16 hp - 13 - 4 = 0 unconscious

Arveene - done
Grogg - done
Deep Gnome -
Lorenzo - done
Sasha - done
With Grogg's charge provided a slight distraction, the Deep Gnome springs forth ready to attack...

"ARRRRRRRGH!"

You little miscreant darts forward, blade already in hand. He drives it down at the knee cap of the poor man, counting on his distraction from Grogg's large presence.
Cunning Action bonus to dash forward. Attack R3. I don't know if I get the Sneak or not, so stabby stab either way. Can I attack twice at this level if I have the actions?

The Deep Gnome lunges forward with the stabby end of his shortsword. As the Redbrand wobbles from too much to drink and focusing on the large half-orc standing over a fallen compatriot, the short and nimble gnome strikes unseen. His shortsword pierces the man's clothing and cuts a main artery which gushes blood forward and all over the man's clothing as he falls to the floor unconscious.
to hit
1d20 + 5 = 20 + 5 = 25
*Critical Hit* (nat 20)
Yes, sneak attack also doubles for crits -- If the attack involves other damage dice, such as from the rogue’s Sneak Attack feature, you roll those dice twice as well.

dmg (1d6+3) + (1d6+3)
sneak attack (1d6) + (1d6)
4d6+6 = 2,4,1,4 + 6 = 17
Heroes, Redbrands
One of the two men moves forward to attack the heroes. The wounded ruffian moves forward towards Sunny and Grogg and strikes at the larger of the two targets. He stabs his shortsword forward at the half-orc, but misses wide as his head spins from his inebriation and wounds.

The other Redbrand watches as the others fight with the intruders. With his hands full of coins collected from the table, he hurls his shortsword forward at Arveene. After throwing his sword, he doesn't even take the time to look to see if it hits, instead he turns and opens the door. The shortsword misses Arveene hitting one of the barrels next to her.
r1 vs Grogg
(disadvantage) d20+4 = 18,1 + 4 = 5 *miss* (there's no crit fumbles in 5e only crit hits)

r4 vs Arveene
(disadvantage) d20+2 = 10,20 + 2 = 12
*miss*

Heroes, Redbrands
With two Redbrands standing and one of those ready to flee the room, the heroes ...
R1 (poisoned) 16 hp - 6 = 10 hp
R2 (poisoned) 16 hp -
R3 (poisoned) 16 hp -17 = 0 unconscious
R4 (poisoned) 16 hp - 13 - 4 = 0 unconscious

Sasha aims another blast of eldritch energy at the closest Redbrand. "Surrender or suffer your comrade's fate!" she shouts to the farthest one.
Eldritch Blast at the closest one standing. Dunno if I can also pull off an intimidation check against the other dude, but if I can I'd like to try. ;)

Sasha aims for the Redbrand ruffian standing in front of Grogg. As she weaves her hands and speaks her command, a beam of crackling energy streaks toward the ruffian. She attempts to send the streak between Grogg and Sunny. However, he calculations are just a bit off as she avoids strike either ally, but also misses her target.
Sasha vs R1
Eldritch blast
To hit: 1d20 + 5 = 8 + 5 = 13
13 vs AC 14 *miss*

Intimidate (and other skill checks) are considered 5e actions, so you can either attack or intimidate. Level 10 Barbarians get a class feat that lets them do both, but otherwise, it's one or other. The 'free action' for speaking does count for intimidate, persuade, diplomacy, etc. skill checks - just talking. Otherwise, that would count as 2 actions, etc. I had to look this rule up, because I like it cinematically, but it lends itself too much towards power creep.
