"Youse let Yuk Yuk go home? Not kill? Yuk Yuk tell you anything. Yuk Yuk treated bad here. Want to leave. Go back to mountains." The goblin presses its back up against the wall hoping to provide some level of comfort.

Arveene blinks, and smiles again, this time genuinely, and her tone changes noticeably. "Excellent. Sorry for the way we treated you before. I thought that you...well, ate people. Anyway... How many skeletons are in the crypts? How many more Redbrands and bugbears are there? Their leader is called 'Glassstaff'. Do you know where he is?"

She shows Yuk Yuk their "map" and asks how to get to the "Boss" room, and explains what "crypts" are. If he doesn't know what "bugbears" are, she points to the three that are lying on the ground.

She wonders to herself how Snut is doing, and whether they might run into him down here, too.

"Yuk Yuk just clean floors, and get kicked. Boss maybe here. Maybe not. He in his room a lot. Yuk Yuk hides eyes, don't see him." When asked about directions, the goblin points northwest in the direction indicated on the map (towards the indicated "Boss" room which agrees with the thug's drawing).

In regards to the crypts, he replies, "Yuk Yuk no go there. Me just clean messes."

"Got it. How about you tell us anything you know about the Boss while I patch you up. Then you can head on back to your home mountains. Sorry you got hurt, we're just after the Boss, not you." He continues bandaging the goblin as best he can.

Yuk Yuk flinches and closes his eyes as the half-orc touches him. Once his wounds are bandaged, he stops shaking and opens his eyes. "Boss name Glasstaff. Staff of glass. Yuk Yuk not know more of boss. Bugbear boss name Black Spider. Black Spider pays humans to make trouble."

"Where do they keep the shiny bits?"

Sunny shrugs when you look over at him, he is a rogue after all, he's in this form the money.

Yuk Yuk looks back to the Deep Gnome and says, "Yuk Yuk don't know. Yuk Yuk was found on road and brought here a few days ago."

The goblin then says, "Yuk Yuk be use to you. Me join your party. Take shiny share?" He then stands up and moves over to the stack of bugbears and kicks one of them. "Mosk." he says and then he kicks, "Not big now." Sticking his hand between the corpses, he pulls out a belt pouch and a iron key.

Holding the pouch and key, Yuk Yuk tries to bargain with the group. "Isa can help. See?"
Sunny - As Yuk Yuk digs through the bodies, you notice the one he kicks and calls Mosk is wearing an eyepatch which catches your eyes because its embroidered with stones that might merit inspection.

Arveene places a hand on her hip and smiles a little. "Yes. It looks like you can. Join us, take shiny share. We won't kick you. That's not something we do. Sunny, there should still be some coins in one of the bandit's pockets, would you go and see?"

She turns to the rest of the group. "We'll search the gambling room and the barracks south of that for anything useful, then take a short rest for our new friend to recover strength. Once we are done, we'll go to to the crypt room on our way to free everyone in the slave pens. That is hopefully where we will also find Mrs. Dendrar and her children. Are we in agreement?"
Religion check vs skeletons: how to kill them quickly and easily. Nature and History too, if those might turn something up.

Goblin rehab? Yessir. Can you describe him? How old does he look for a goblin?

Yuk Yuk should probably benefit from the Song of Rest too. Should heal up that broken rib nice and tight. I'm hoping we'll find something useful to kill the skeletons with. I have a flask of oil that I could drop in the doorway, and we can have our sorcerer light it up with a firebolt. Depends on whether these skeletons have archers and whether they are the mindless type that will shamble right into open flames.

Let's also make a mental note of the nothic's corpse. There might be good money for a trophy and some ingredients harvested from it, with Survival. Maybe the bugbears too?

Sasha's eyes widen slightly at the mention of Black Spider. "If all of this leads to Black Spider, we may have hit upon something big in the region," she explains to the others after searching her memory. "Don't know much about him or her, but Black Spider is a Drow and on Neverwinter's list of Enemies of the Realm. People we'd really like to kill or capture. We need to be careful."

Damage Vulnerabilities - Bludgeoning
Damage Immunities - Poison
Condition Immunities - Exhaustion, Poisoned
Then you know of the other holy spells (turn undead, etc.)
short, ugly humanoid
stands just over 3 feet tall
scrawny body
oversized and hairless head with massive ears and beady red eyes
gray skin tone
age - unknown (nobody really has a lot of knowledge of how to tell how old a goblin is by appearance) You know they reach adulthood at 8 years and usually live to 60 (if not killed before then)
You can use soothing music or oration to help revitalize your wounded allies during a short rest. If you or any friendly creatures who can hear your performance regain hit points at the end of the short rest by spending one or more Hit Dice, each of those creatures regains an extra 1d6 hit points.

**** So this requires the group take a "Short Rest" - this takes 1 hour in game time. Do you want to do this? You probably know that within an hour, somebody might figure out there's a bunch of dead redbrands, bugbears, and a nothic there. ***
bugbear's pouch has 33 gp
eyepatch has jewels on it worth about 50gp
also an iron key in pocket
The group decides to retreat and inspect the guard barracks and the common room once more. Upon entering the guard barracks, they find four roughly built wooden bunks, with heaped-up blankets and dirty dishes scattered about. A strong smell of unwashed bodies and rotten meat fills the air. When they enter, Yuk Yuk runs over and grabs some of the meat and begins voraciously eating it.

Returning to the common room, they find the gambling table and nothing they hadn't already discovered before. When they enter the common room, Yuk Yuk points at the north door and says "booyahg booyahg." While nobody speaks goblinoid, Sunny's knowledge of undercommon allows him to determine that "booyahg" has something to do with either magic or spells.
