Grogg takes the lead after Sunny clears it for traps. If something is waiting with a weapon ready, he would prefer to be the one taking it than the little deep gnome.

As the group prepares to enter the room, Yuk Yuk eyes swift back and forth as he digs for scraps of anything useful in the crypts and hopes to pocket anything of value -- which he is unable to find. Nonetheless, the goblin continues to carry a heavy load of pelts in hopes of selling them for profit.

Grogg pushes the unlocked door open and takes a step into the room. The half-orc finds two Redbrands standing beside the door waiting for them to enter. Seizing the surprise, the thugs pounce on the druid.

The group peers into the room showing a long room partitioned into three areas, with iron bars walling off the north and south. Filthy straw lines the floors of those cells, the hinged doors of which are secured by chains and padlocks. A pair of disheveled human women are held in the cell to the south, while a human boy is confined to the north. All are dressed in plain gray tunics and have iron collars fitted around their necks. A heap of discarded clothing is piled carelessly against the far wall.
surprise/redbrands, heroes
While the two Redbrands must have overheard the fighting in the crypt and took positions to surprise any intruders, the seemingly dropped their diligence when the took a turn into the hallway and discovered the pit trap. Attacking swiftly, but missing the two Redbrands find themselves staring down a vigilant half-orc who avoiding their initial strikes.

Arveene, only able to see the jailed kid and one redbrand, and the weapons of both enemies missing as they strike a prepared half-orc druid, unable to run through the crowd of people, raises her weapon to get a good angle and take a shot, aiming to put them down. Surrender's not good enough for these types, and this is technically her home, after all.

Immediately behind Grogg, Sasha sends a blast of eldritch energy at one of the assailants.
If I have line of sight, Eldritch Blast at R1.

Without thinking your little gnome ducks under the arms of his companions and tumbles into the prison cell area hoping to avoid getting stuck by the enemy guards. He comes to a stop just a little north of Grogg and stabs at the man there.
Let's Move N, E, NE if I can avoid an AoO tumble or whatever.

Then attack R1. If he's dead already go SE instead of NE and attack R1

Arveene launches a bolt through the crowd with deadly precise. The bolt hits the Redbrand in the upper torso leaving a serious wound. The thug is still standing, but appears a bit whoozy from the hit. Just seconds later, Sasha weaves an Eldritch Blast which soars through the door, but fails to hit the Redbrand thug.

The Deep Gnome rushes forward ducking and weaving hoping to avoid the Redbrand's blade as he gets into a better position to attack. The thug slashes out at the quick Deep Gnome and misses his strike. When Sunny gets into position, he strikes with his shortsword. His blow finishes the wounded Redbrand as the thug falls to the ground.

If he can see the enemy, he flings a firebolt at him. Else, he conjures a still illusion of Grogg next to the Redbrand, hoping to distract him a bit.

Grog stomps his foot hard and leans forward as a feint, then darts farther into the room, corraling the remaining Redbrand into the corner. He strikes out with his sword, fighting back.
Move 1x SE. Attack R2.
