Your little thief moves into the chamber. "Great. Undead Warriors are sure to rise up from the coffins to kill us all. Might as well get it over with." He sighs, but when the group isn't instantly murdered he cocks his head and sets to looking the skeletons and after them the copper plates on the door must be worth something too!

Some of the group wander closer to the sarcophagi to inspect its writings. The etching is faded and broken in some parts, but most are able to figure out these are the elders of the long-gone Tresendar family. Each of the stone lids are carved to depict the person entombed within-two human males and one human female, all of noble bearing. The lids are not opened, so the contents of the tomes are yet undetermined.

As their caution dwindles, the skeletons remain silent and still.
Let me know if anyone wishes to inspect the insides tomes, copper plates on southeast door, or the northeast door (presumably) leading to the cells.

Arveene ponders the sarcophagi. "The words are weathered by time, but from what I can make out, these were the elders of the family. Let's leave them to rest," she says. "I already have what I need."

"Yes," Sasha agrees. "We need not be grave robbers."

The half-orc is a druid who lives in the forests between civilized towns. When something dies it returns to the earth to be consumed and returned to the cycle of nature. "Seems wasteful to keep ones skeleton from the trees, and treasures hidden from family and tribe. Strange customs." He doesn't think it's worth starting something over, so instead he satisfies his curiosity with the copper plates to the south-east.

When the druid steps near the door, a slight chill can be felt by some...

A magical trap of necromantic energy laid near the entry to the crypts. The trap triggered by Grogg releases dark magic which animate the three skeletons. The boney warriors turn their heads and shift their weight as they begin to stand upright, raise their weapons, and inspect the group within the room...
Heroes, skeletons
Yuk Yuk's eyes widen at the sight of the skeletons starting to move. The goblin begins to step back into the hallway.

"Alright! Now it's a party." Grogg turns back and and engages the nearest skeleton, keeping it pinned against its coffin. He swings his scimitar with eager ferocity, trying to cut it down.

Grogg quickly turns and slashes at the nearest skeleton. His swift blade slides off the armor scraps covering the undead creature and does no damage.

"Th-the skeletons, they're waking up! Watch out!" Arveene draws her rapier and takes a few guarded steps away from the skeleton Grogg engaged, and slashes at the one north of her next to Lorenzo.
Move East 1 & attack S2.
