Notable Quotes
This thread idea was given by Geist in the Eberron OOC area. I thought it would be a nice idea to add it to the General RPG and get everyone in on the fun. Post any funny or notable quotes from the various IC games you are playing in here, or ones that you aren't playing in but enjoyed anyhow.

"As for you, Dimble Dimwit -- don't ever speak to me of proper conduct again, at least not until you are out of the habit of knocking your own shipmate unconscious right in the presence of an enemy!!! Ever since you got to Shei-Salom, we've had to carry you, physically and otherwise -- forgiving your childish pranks, listening to your ever wilder lies, pitching your tents, cleaning up after your bumbling in battle. If you improve tremendously, you will merely be useless.
- Dimble! I feel so sorry for you!

Game: Mahasarpa: Chaper 3 - The Deva's Breath Upon the Loom
Player/Character: Kakita_Gokumoro/Rhokti & TetNak/Shamad
Not paying attention to anything but the horrid skull, Rhokti yelps in surprise as his hand is struck. Quickly withdrawing it and holding it closely to his chest, he gives a hurt expression towawrds Shamad
"I'm sorry... but gaze upon it... it, well, glooooowsss..."
His gnat-like attention once more is drawn into the skull's obscene architecture. However, his aching hand reminds him that someone who didn't spend the night trying to keep insects out of his skull knows the danger present here better than he.
"What do you suppose it tastes like?"
"Like dirt," Shamad says, "And dirt does not taste good."
The man rolls his eyes as he has to now play babysitter to one of his friends, though he says nothing, hoping the creature's intellect returns, and returns soon.
"Rhotki," starts Shamad, "Why do you not go stand by Kalyani, back there, maybe give her some company and protect her."
Tearing his attention away from the skull, Rhokti regards Shamad for a short time, looking as if he is weighing his options and taking his friend's suggestion under advisement, which would be a true assesment for the first second, before thoughts about skull-shapped friuts and laughing vines invade his thoughts.
Not wishing to appear more foolish than he suspects he has made himself to be, or perhaps not... these are such confusing times.
"I believe you are correct, my friend... dirt does not taste good. And your other idea was good too."
Taking a moment to look back upon the skull a final time, the confused monkey-man steps backward towards the bulk of the party, tripping over his tail before turning around and loping towards Kalyani.
