Re: Fond Memories of a MMO
The story was decent, and I had fun doing the festival events they had, and the main plot quests with Brennor and others, but I would, and its part of my gaming-flaws, try and do everything. Completion-ist, which really hurts in open world games, cause its impossible to do it all!

I'm still on Landroval, but haven't played any since Dol Amroth. If anyone wants to join me some time...

Re: Fond Memories of a MMO
My philosophy in LOTRO was to explore and have fun. Tried not to get bogged down in the grinding and dailies. Well sometimes I did, but my point was to enjoy the experience as a Tolkien fan. When I was in a raiding guild in WoW, now that was a full time job.

I've been looking for a reason to run around on there again. I agree the best part of the game is the scenery and lore

Yeah I had a great time in it, then I got caught up in the dailies and some grind, which I should have just moved on. My 'kinship' or whatever you want to call it was just Brennor at times, and not much else so never had someone to go around with, which was okay to.

I'm on Arkenstone and doubt I'd move over to another server. I like the people there. Still however, if you want to come see me (seeing how they're doing free server transfers until the end of the year) by all means do. Just PM me if ya decide to and I can letcha know my toons' names, etc.

Former(ish) Landy and Elendilmir player here. I still pop in from time to time, but I just can't seem to get the momentum of years ago going again. I guess that's because I'm almost 100% tabletop these days. I still miss LOTRO, though, and I want to go back and explore Gondor!

Wish everyone was on same server. They should consolidate onto a single server
