Are any of those board or card games any good? I'm thinking about getting Exploding Kittens (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010TQY7A8) and maybe a few others over the holidays.

I've played Exploding Kitten (the tame version) and it was fine, but its a filler game, something that takes 10 mins while you wait for the crew to arrive.

You can always check them on BoardGameGeek for reviews. I have heard LotR Confrontation is good, but its only 2 players.
