D&D 5e Homebrew - Hunting & Fishing rules

Any hunters or fishermen out there who can look this over?

I'm running a D&D 5e "kids" game and he (9 yo boy) really likes hunting and fishing between catching bad guys (have already taken down a brown bear and 2 boars and caught a few haddock) and it's hard to travel from town to the village/dungeon/etc. without seeing a lake/pond/stream or open field where there might be game/fish to stop and camp, so I googled around and found a few tables and rules for hunting and fishing.
I need to make tables for 'foraging' for fruit, berries, plants, etc. as well.
I don't want to make it overly complicated, so I didn't include rules for spoilage or fish strength vs pole strength (aka fish combat) that I found on the interwebs.
