This came out a few days ago, so if you haven't watched it already and you grew up in the 80s, this Brazilian car commercial should give you all kinds of feels.
I think the quality on this commercial is better than any of the previous D&D live action movies...

Yeah, I normally don't like commercials, but that's pretty cool.
Apparently, the D&D cartoon was really big in Brazil during the 1980s, so using it in an ad like this taps into that generation's nostalgia in a major way.

I watched the cartoon every week. I wish there was a new D&D cartoon series.

I'm a 90's kid but that was pretty cool. But I also don't like those kinds of commercials. Decide what you're advertising, a movie or a car, please. I remember my first Droid commercial. I was pissed when it turned out not to be a teaser lol

In fact, at that time I preferred Spider Man, Masters of the Universe and (I don't remember the name) a series about a barbarian with a flaming sword.

I have about a dozen episodes on DVD. Found it once in a bargain bin for like $3! My son loves it.

I watched He-Man, but I was referring to Thundarr.

Reading about it now seems strange, because I did not understand the whole background then.

Yeah, the D&D cartoon was not my favorite at the time (Thundarr was one of the ones that was, but I only got to watch when visiting my aunt, since it wasn't broadcast in my area), but looking back on it, I seem to recall that its plotlines were a little more sophisticated than you saw in most children's action-adventure cartoons at the time. However, I don't have confidence that that recollection is correct.
