App for this site?

Post by silverfoxdmt73 » Thu Aug 15, 2019 2:17 pm

Hi,

I'm having real issues with logging in (or more to the point, staying logged in) to this site on my phone on Google Chrome. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same problems and if there was an App I can use on my phone (Android OS, Xiaomi Note 5) that might be less problematic.

The issue I have is that when I am logged in and try to send a PM or make a post, I get kicked out and have to try and log back in, but for some reason my password isn't recognised and I have to keep asking for a password reset. However, when I do this and try to activate it on my phone it doesn't recognise the temporary password I am sent. However, if I do the same thing on a computer, there is no problem whatsoever.

@silverfoxdmt73

I googled around and found a few other people having the same problem. Here's some things to try.

1. Clear cookies and cache and retry?

2. Are you using http://dicefellowship.org or http://www.dicefellowship.org ? (try the other one, if you're using either)

3. Are you using "http" or "https"? (try the other one)

4. Are you clicking "Remember me" on the login on your phone?

5. Try to login through incognito mode?

6. Can you clear your data storage on your phone? (click 3 dots/menu on chrome -> site settings -> storage -> clear. This will just get rid of databases downloaded to your phone (like cookies and stuff).

7. Can you install/use Firefox on your phone to make sure it's not an IP/location problem?
