Regarding the cannons. I only have the basic 2D in mechanical, so don't look at me. I'm not super helpful in space.Vardaen wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 9:37 pmYes, I'll give you some sort of ship, nothing crazy, I have to look but am open to suggestions.
More of a independent sort of group, smugglers, merc, bounty hunters, no longer on the active New Rep pay roll.
You can all have Basic, your own Racial, and one bonus language at no cost (you've been around a bit). Except the Wookie!
5 Players is fine probably the limit I think.
Its okay if you guys want some secrets, its fun that way, but you will have a bout a years worth or story already together. Figure we are starting 'chapter 3' of the campaign or something like that. We don't need ti all mapped out what we have done, but it will give me history hooks to make up and draw from.

You shouldn't have to spend a pip on a language unless you want extras? I found this quote from V (bolded for emphasis).

Re: Com Chatter - Character and Setting Development
I suggest doing the Wookiee language thing like this, if you do not mind me taking over your char sometimes, Shurijo.
I'd post something like this, it saves us an extra post of someone translating.
Chack growls something in his own tongue. "He says everything is alright, don't worry!" Mal translates.
So in my posts I'd include a brief translation, if Mal is present. Is that ok?

Sounds fine with me. If everybody gets a free, bonus language, then who will end up unable to understand the wookiee?

I don't think anyone's going to beat that score in Gunnery. I say fire away.

I picked up Shyriiwook (Understand, but not speak) as my bonus. Basic and Togruti for the others, obviously. ^_^

Can I be your fifth player? I have a street-raised Force user looking for someone (a Jedi) who can teach him more about the Force. 15-yr-old Rattataki from Nar Shadaa. I need a copy of the sheet to put my stats on.

It would be neat for Muzhy and Naomi to have an apprentice--for Muzhy, it would certainly feel like part of finding his path to redemption.

They are basically apprentices themselves. Dangerous to teach when they are still learners. I like it.

Nice, well if the DM decides to welcome me, knock on wood, we can have the him stow away on the ship. Nar Shadaa is quite some distance from Kijimi, though. Might have to workshop his home planet to be closer.
