As Basil talks, Fayz moves into position opposite him. He keeps his carbine stowed, instead counting on his training and physical modifications to give him the edge if anything goes violent.

Amir just focuses on keeping his drone's light on the hidden person, preventing them from slipping away into a different patch of shadow. No need to add his own voice to create confusion, the others surrounding the mysterious figure have that handled.

Captured in the light of the drone (and in the video feed) a tall, gangly limbed bald headed man can be seen trying to evade the others. After a second or two, he turns and throws something at the drone, but it misses and clatters noisily on the metal floor meters below the walkway.

"Leave now you fools." He hisses, "This ship is doomed and you will doom yourselves if you stay here."

"I cannot let you take control again... I will stop you." He replies angrily to Basil's statement.

Zaynab calls out, "Please, can you tell us what happened here? Why should we leave? We came here to help you! If you don't want us to do so, we have to have a reason. And if something bad happened to you, we want to be able to warn others of the danger."

At the sight of this guy, Basil puts his knife away, but hurries after him in earnest to make a running tackle. However, there are containers in his way and his prosthesis chooses the worst time to act up, nearly tripping him and forcing him to slow his roll to compensate.
Force roll failed, bollocks.

As Basil attempts to catch up with him and Zaynab tries to talk him down, the lanky figure disappears behind some crates and onto the scaffolding behind part of the huge engine, becoming lost in the tangle of wires and in the shadow of the barrels and consoles.

A short distance behind the group, Mister Kembouri tries to catch your attention. "Please, everyone.. I think we need to regroup. There is some, ah, information I need to disclose."

Zaynab cautiously turns her attention from the mysterious figure to Kembouri. "Yes, sir?" she says, trying to keep the annoyance from her voice. She strongly suspects that this is information they should have known to begin with.

"I would beg your indulgence for a few moments." Kembouri repeats, a little nervously.

He suggests the group retreats to the doorway, out of sight and earshot of the person in the Machine Halls. With (Assuming) everyone nearby, he explains.

"My area of expertise as a freelancer was called upon by Melem Gesurra, but I specialise in, something not all that common - Exorcism." He begins, adding "Everything I have told you so far is true, but there was one final transmission from the Orun II before communication was lost." He reaches into his robes and brings out a small comms device.

Static plays for a moment before a message can be heard, the voice similar to the one heard on the intercom just moments ago.

"DJINNI ONBOARD. CAPTAIN LOST. MULTIPLE CASUALITIES. DEADLY CARGO. CONTAGION. DO NOT ATTEMPT A RESCUE. WE ARE HEADING FOR DEATH. MAY THE ICONS BE MERCIFUL"

Basil just looks right through Kembouri at the mention of exorcism. Now, he looks like he's about to pop a vein. Ignoring the message's talk of evil spirits, and the fact that they're flying toward the sun - which they already knew - he asks, "Did Gesurra tell you anything about the Orun II's cargo? Or what kind of contagion is onboard?"

Zaynab makes a gesture to avert evil before speaking again. She tries to keep her voice level as she speaks to Kembouri, though she is in fact quite angry. "Why didn't you disclose this information to us at the beginning of the mission? Or at least before we boarded? We can't do our jobs if you don't inform us of the nature of the job we're supposed to do."
