Grim had the mischance

Too bad he got me
I am a compulsive book buyer. I bought the entire Rogue Trader and Dark Heresy catalogs without much prospect to play. Then out of the blue I ran across Grimbold looking for players (slumming) on a Fantasy Flight board I had just joined. Figured it never hurts to ask and boom here I am. Playing in 4 games on the site and enjoying every second of it. People could not be more helpful and welcoming hell I'm even toying with the idea of trying to meet some of you at Brencon.
My history in gaming...I started playing D&D (Greyhawk and homebrew) when I was 10 and then Gamma World and converted MERP and Call of Cthulu and Top Secret and Marvel Super Heroes and Villians and Vigilantes and.... I played through high school and then except for a couple of months in college stopped. I moved to Michigan when I turned 29, with my then girlfriend now wife, and met a bunch of guys who played everything. Suddenly I was back to playing 3 nights a week, 3rd Edition, Champions, Shadowrun, Deadlands (that is one crazy game), GURPS (never got the hang of it) and many others. Then I moved back east to Maine and lost all of the camaraderie and adventure in one fell swoop...but not the books. I kept buying those. Finally the owner of the FLGS, that I buy many of my books at, asked me who I play with, I said I didn't and he told me to come to the 4E Encounters game that next week and he'd get me back into it. Thank you Brendan. I came and played and though I don't love 4E (I keep telling people I take a five foot step

Well that's more than enough about me but it's a rainy/snowy day here in Maine and I don't want to do the work I have in front of me.
Glad to meet you all and thanks again for the fantastic welcome!
