Greetings from a New Player

Greetings everyone.

I'm a new guy that's joining TetNak's A Song of Ice and Fire - Shattered Kingdoms game. I'm new to PBP games, but have played RPGs since I was a kid. I absolutely LOVE how into the back-stories and histories you can get with a game like this as opposed to a live game. I've always enjoyed that part quite a bit, and usually go overboard as compared to other players in the games I play. I have strong interest in playing The One Ring, A Song of Ice and Fire and Star Wars games. I currently play The One Ring on Roll20, but I don't think that group is going to last honestly. I also play with a local group of guys. We play D&D 5E, Edge of the Empire, board games, etc.

I'm 44 years old. My wife Rebekah and I have two children. Our daughter, Morgan, is 15 (going on 26) and our son, Drake, is 11 (going on 5). We love going to Medieval/Renaissance Faires, Sci-Fi/Fantasy Conventions and other things of that sort, as our children's names may give away. Professionally, I'm a managing attorney for a state agency and practice environmental law.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hello and tell a bit about myself. If I'm someone you think might fit well into one of your groups, just shoot me a PM.

Welcome aboard man! Sounds like you are are going to fit right in.

If you are interested in any Pathfinder games I know several are looking for new players (check the Master Game List), and we have 3 The One Ring games going on (that I run) so perhaps we might find room for another player in one of them. Glad to have you!

All: Sorry about the Introductions forum. Haya pointed out to me that it didn't exist and then I realized the permissions weren't set properly. Everyone should be able to see it under General category on main page now. I moved this topic to the Intro forums.

Ooooo. Another attorney. We have at least one lawyer on the site.

Sounds great. Looking forward to your posting. Also, if there's every ideas on site improvements or suggestions, just let us know. We want to make this forum the best pbp site and make it user-friendly and the best for our players as we can.
