I played and play Splitermond, Warhammer (Fantasy), Fate (an Anime World Selfcreation setting),
Iron Kingdoms and 7th Sea second edition (Master).

Longer not played i have Exalted 1st and 2nd Edition, Warhammer 40'000 (all Settings), DSA (I think 3rd or 2nd Edition), AD+D / D+D 3 and the World of Darkness settings (Vampir and Magus)

Once played i have Arcane Codex, Frost Zone and the Dresden Files RPG

Welcome to the site. Out of curiosity, what's your first language?

That would be Swissgerman.

I then had to learn "Correct" German and then they tried to teach me French...

How different are Swiss and "standard" German? I know dialects of some languages can be so different as to be mutually incomprehensible, but I hadn't thought that was the case with German dialects.

The main problem with swissgerman is that its not just a dialect it's a dialect family, and there are more German German dialects then i know and swissgerman was never standardized as a written version.

Hello there! Welcome!
I am a Swiss/Austrian, so I speak Swiss German, too.
Grüezi, wiä gaahts? Ich bin vor alläm in Fribourg uufgwachse, aber siit 1994 in Ööstriich.
Most speakers of standard German will have trouble unterstanding spoken Swiss German. Some TV shows which are in Swiss German, but watched by other German speakers, have subtitles.
