Hello y'all!

Where to start... Just saying "hey what's up" seemed a little short, so I guess I better try something else. Well, I've been playing RPGs for a rather long time (since my days as a wee little lad in elementary school); cut my teeth on AD&D 2nd edition, which looking bad, wasn't the best RPG book to give to a 9-year-old. I've been doing PBPs for about 15 years, give or take, with a HUGE chunk of my teens spent over at Dumpshock, playing WAY too much Shadowrun. Since becoming somewhat of a responsible adult, I've been dipping back into PBPs because it gels well with my wonky schedule. I do try to run tabletop games when I can, but getting a group together is always a bit of a hassle.
When it comes to systems I like and enjoy, I find I've been drawn to either the very simple (Delta Green, Call of Cthulhu, everything that's run with GUMSHOE) or the more complex (like A Song of Ice and Fire, Pendragon and Eclipse Phase)
What brings me here: now that falls into a few categories. PBP, that's for sure, but I'm also looking for a place to just bounce ideas around.
I guess that covers everything!
Oh! Another thing; English is NOT my first language, so I've always seen PbP as a nice way to keep in linguistic shape
