Noburo takes a bit of time to regain some strength from the trek carrying the Lion samurai. Looking up at the monk, "The water kami will not answer my call for the time being. Please be prepared to spend the night here."

Noburo goes about checking up on Rokku's wounds, using his healing skill and his supply of jade to attempt to stem the tide of the infection from the Shadowland creatures.

"Rokku-san, it is good to see you awake. Your injuries are quite serious, please be still and conserve your strength."

Turning toward Ijiko and Hidekazu, "Please prepare some food and water for Rokku-san as I try to work on his wounds."

Hidekazu nods, moving to gather water and food. After a few moments the ise zumi returns with both rice balls and water. "This should aid in his recovery," he says, placing the food and water next to Rokku and Noburo. The monk, who always seems reserved, simply takes a step back and walks away from the injured and the man tending to him. His eyes scan the horizon, expecting some other threat to pass before them.

Rokku does as he is told by the Shugenja. He is too weak to argue regardless. Once food is brought he eats ravenously. The cleaning of his wounds and the application of jade brings only the pain f the water used to flush the wounds, and so far the Isawa can tell that no shadowlands taint has spread into the Ronin Lion as the jade does not suffer any harm at his touch and vice versa.

Night passes in the stable without incident. The small band wakes at morning and prepairs themselves to set out once again. Rokku however has only gained back minor strength from the rest, and actually appears to be much paler for the night of sleep. He coughs a few times hacking up a bit of blood in the process...
Everyon heals their Earth Ring in wounds back.

Rokku +3, at 21 Wounds. No Change in Penalty.
Hidezaku +2, at 6 Wounds. No Change in Penalty.

Ijiko wakes up and stretches, grabbing a rice ball before quickly rushing out to scout the area fr traps or enemies sniffing their way to the party through the night. She will do a sweep of the nearby scenery and return for a full report for the others as quickly as she can.

Ijiko-san eats quickly and steps outside the stables to do a quick scout of the area. She is gone only for a short while before returning and reporting that there is no signs of trouble. However she does find several sets of bakemono tracks that had moved through the rice paddies, how long ago however, she can not say.

Rokku remains in terrible health, dispite the medical skills of the Shugenja. It has come time regardless to continue on, as waiting longer here is dangerous.

OOC: Due to obvious lack of interest in this game, I'm closing this game. I will pick up another L5R game in the future I'm sure. Watch the OOC threads for more information. If there is suddenly a rash of complaints from your guys abut this game closing, I can reopen it.
