All WoD On Hold

I was considering having this game start in the Dark Ages, or Roman Empire, etc, what do you all think?

Im not a fan of the Dark Ages but the period of Roman ocupation could be interesting. Lots of good wars going on all over the place, perhaps not if it was set in Rome herself, but could be interesting. Guess that means my quickymart worker concept has to be redone.

I'm just throwing out ideas. And by Dark Ages, I don't particularly mean the "Dark Ages" that was created by the previous WoD edition. I'm just taking about medieval in general.

I am kinda leaning toward something like the Roman Empire. For Werewolf my idea would be that you'd all be from Gaul and Rome comes a conquering, etc.

I would have to say, OH YEAH! That time frame works well for me. I think my preference would be the German barbarian tribes silenced by the roman legions. Just a brain fart to do with as you will. G-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r stinking romans, g-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r.

Alright folks.

Roman Empire based.

You will not be Roman.

But where will you be from? Certainly an occupied, or close to occupied area. My thoughts..

Gaul (Not specific as to where, depends on time)
Britain
Africia
Palestine
Egypt

Any others? Suggestions? Ideas?

As far as the pack, I'm giving BW first choice to what he plays. You will all be apart of the pack...

Each one of you will be from different Auspices. They are as following:

* Rahu (The Full Moon, The Warrior) - warriors of all kinds from brawlers to seasoned commanders.
* Cahalith (The Gibbous Moon, The Visionary) - seers, storytellers and lorekeepers.
* Elodoth (The Half Moon, The Walker Between) - diplomats to the spirit courts, judges and arbiters.
* Ithaeur (The Crescent Moon, The Spirit Master) - occultists and keepers of spirit lore and rituals.
* Irraka (The New Moon, The Stalker) - scouts, spies and trackers.

Don't worry about tribes at this point.

I'd be up for Gaul, Britain, or Gothic lands. Gaul and Britain would be interesting. Course sacking and pillaging in the later Goth years would also be totally worth it.

If I had a choice though, I'd go with the British Isles. Who's up for yanking a few centurions off Hadrian's wall with me?
