Re: Legends and Lineage
I'm just looking for a year so I can build some sort of character history. I will be a Patrician Prefect at the least, though.

Re: Legends and Lineage
So, are we the Eastern or Western Roman Empire? In 410 AD that's an important point. I assume we are Western.

Re: Legends and Lineage
Also, I'm not trying to influence you, but ..
Another interesting idea would be to have the Huns involved later in the 5th century. I think around 450 AD. This time period brings Rome/Germanic Tribes/Huns together. This retains problems with Rome, as they have steadily poor Emperors in the last legs of the Empire, etc. Huns could even fit some other WoD archetype as well.

Re: Legends and Lineage
How big a deal and how public are we lycanthropes? Does everyone know Shef Shieldson can turn into a furry murderhouse, or does everyone assume he's just touchy? Are we rank-and-file warriors or decorated members of our cultural grouping?

Re: Legends and Lineage
IT IS A STRONG POSSIBILITY THAT WILL COME INTO PLAY TET. AS EACH CHAPTER MAY COVER 5 TO 10 YEARS.
NOW FOR YOUR QUESTIONS MR. WEIRD. WEREWOLVES ARE THE STORIES TOLD TO GUIDE MISBEHAVING CHILDREN. YOUR PACK AND TRIBE WILL BE FOLLOWING THE VANDAL CULTURE. THE HUMANS THAT YOUR PACK INTERACTS WITH WILL HAVE NO IDEA YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE. RANK AND FILE OR DECORATED WILL RELY HEAVILY UPON YOUR CHARACTER BACKGROUND.
I AM ALSO BRINGING BACK A MERIT FROM OWOD FOR USE IN THIS CHRONICLE:
MILITARY FORCE:
. SURLY MOB, 15 POORLY TRAINED TROOPS
.. MILITIA, 25 TRAINED SECURITY GAURDS
... SWAT TEAM, 40 CAPABLE FIGHTERS
.... VETERAN TROOPS, 75 COMBAT SEASONED SOLDIERS
..... ELITE COMPANY, 100 BATTLE HARDENED TROOPS

Re: Legends and Lineage
As Romans, I have to say Venture, more than likely.

Re: Legends and Lineage
Question about the clans: Ventrue or Julii from Requiem for Rome? Or both?
I'd like to play a Mekhet scribe, probably with some egyptian influence.
edit: oh, and since i just had a look at the character sheet: how will you replace the modern skills like firearms?
