[Pathfinder] Iron Kingdoms

Post by Scout89 » Tue Jul 07, 2015 4:34 pm

Since my SWSE campaign didn't work out, I decided to try my hand at GMing something that might be more popular. So I want to GM an Adventure Path called Witchfire in the Iron Kingdoms' setting. Anyone interested?

Is this Pathfinder rules, but D&D setting?

Nope. Full 3.5. PF classes might unbalance the setting.

I haven't played 3.5 in ages. I probably pass.

I'm terribly tempted as an avid enthusiast of steampunk settings like that of the Iron Kingdoms (aka Warmachine/Hordes for those of you familiar with the miniature tabletop wargame that was created after this particular AP's conception). However I'm afraid I'll have to pass as well on grounds similar to that of Vardaen. A shame that they never adapted this to the modern IK RPG system (which I own several of the books for), otherwise I'd be more than happy to join.

I was about to adapt it to the new system, but I though it would attract more interest using 3.5 rules.
@Vardaen and @TetNak, if there is enough interest in this AP, but not much in using 3.5, I might consider adapting it to PF.

PF isn't far from 3.5 and isn't much of a change, but there is enough of difference that it would thorw me for a loop along with having to learn a new setting.

Ok, I can use PF rules if people show enough interest.

Still not for me, sorry. I'm not into 3.5 or Pathfinder.
