ASOIAF: The Massacre at Northmarch

Hello fellow PbPers.

For awhile now I've been talking with @TetNak about running a one-off PbP set within the Shattered Kingdoms alternate timeline in ASOIAF. Tetnak has over the course of several years ran several campaigns in this timeline that has encompassed everything from the first Blackfyre Rebellion to the War of the Five Kings to sellsword companies during the fifth Blackfyre Rebellion.

During these games events have happened off screen that have shaped the landscape. Jaime Lannister killing Ned Stark, the return of the Blackfyres, the defeat of the Others to name a few. My hope is this is the first in a series of PbP that helps flesh out some of this history (think the Black Library expanding the history of the Primarchs and the Emperor except you know, not sucking at it).

So what is this campaign about? As the title alludes to it covers the tragic sacking of Northmarch and the near extinction of House Cloverwood. As the War of the Five Kings rage the small house has been surrounded and attacked by the vile Ser Amory Lorch.

While some of the characters available have already had their fate sealed how will you play them? Will you go out roaring like a lion or whimpering like a lamb?

Wen and by association Colin will be in Seagard by the time of the massacre so they're safe.

Once a roster is fleshed out I will list more available characters. Arturo Sand the protector of Tania, Hevard Flowers, Ol' Hamish, e.g.

Correct. Wen and Colin. Ser Jarl is also plot immune based on Lewyn Vantri who served as Colin's squire.

Cillyan as well, obviously, as he split off before. Ser Duncan as well, as he was with Cillyan. Basically that whole split that went with him, including Malcom.

Is it going to me all pre made characters or will there be any player made ones? Either way I'll play, but I was curious.

Up to @WalterPeck, but I believe there will be an opportunity for both. Just realize this is a scenario with a predetermined ending. It isn't a full game in itself.

I may be open to a new character but there are a lot of existing people to choose from. Some are fairly developed while some are vague enough to allow people to put their own stamp on the PC.
