Arkham Nights

What has risen may sink, and what is sunk may rise… Cthulhu still lives.
—H. P . Lovecraft

I have recently begun reading Lovecraft in anticipation for the new FFG LCG Arkham Horror and have found my way to the Call of Chuthulu 7th Edition RPG. I was thinking, in honor of Halloween, perhaps I'd run a one shot of CoC from a pre-made. If things went well perhaps we could start a campaign.

Is there any interest out there for this sort of game?

in which the investigators stray into the hunting grounds of a newly unleashed
terror from beyond, and may not live to see the morning.

Put me down as a maybe. Pre-gen characters aren't my cup of tea, but if the session manages to drum up enough interest for a full-fledged campaign in the future, then I'll consider it.

I would like to kick it off asap without delay. A single one shot to test it out etc. If things go then we should be able to start up a campaign from scratch. If we all hate it thrn no harm done.

Whenever I see Arkham, I think Batman. I was thinking you were going to run a Batman theme supers game :(

Lol. Wrong Arkham sorry. There maybe an asylum with crazies in it if you like.

I'm game for a one-shot.

And Arkham Asylum is clearly a nod to Mr. Lovecraft.

I'm looking for 2-5 players, and am at 3. So this game is a go.
