Okay the rules for crafting poison are really sort of stupid.

According to the Craft Skill:

To determine how much time and money it takes to make an item, follow these steps.

Find the item's price in silver pieces (1 gp = 10 sp).
Find the item's DC from Table: Craft Skills.
Pay 1/3 of the item's price for the raw material cost.
Make an appropriate Craft check representing one week's worth of work. If the check succeeds, multiply your check result by the DC. If the result × the DC equals the price of the item in sp, then you have completed the item. (If the result × the DC equals double or triple the price of the item in silver pieces, then you've completed the task in one-half or one-third of the time. Other multiples of the DC reduce the time in the same manner.) If the result × the DC doesn't equal the price, then it represents the progress you've made this week. Record the result and make a new Craft check for the next week. Each week, you make more progress until your total reaches the price of the item in silver pieces.

If you fail a check by 4 or less, you make no progress this week. If you fail by 5 or more, you ruin half the raw materials and have to pay half the original raw material cost again.

Progress by the Day: You can make checks by the day instead of by the week. In this case your progress (check result × DC) should be divided by the number of days in a week.

According to Poison Rules:

You can make poison with the Craft (alchemy) skill. The DC to make a poison is equal to its Fortitude save DC. Rolling a natural 1 on a Craft skill check while making a poison exposes you to the poison. This does not consume the poison. If you have the poison use class feature, you do not risk accidentally poisoning yourself when applying poison.

So looking at Arashi's crafting, he has +10 on his Craft (Alchemy) w/ his tool.

Okay, Small Centipede Poison, Cost 90, DC 11

Items prince in Silver 90 x 10 = 900sp
Arashi Takes Ten: Craft Skill 20 x DC 11 = 220

Means it would take him 4 WEEKS to turn the raw centipede poison into usable poison.

That is just stupid. I suppose I see that as making a poison from nothing into a Centipede like poison with other ingredients. Like a man made synthetic centipede poison or something like that.

Even if he rolled 20 (30 Total) x 11 = 330 it would take 3 weeks. STUPID!
So I'm changing it. House rule!

DC = Fort Save
You can turn one raw dose of naturally extracted poison into usable doses at the rate of 1 per day of crafting. If you double the DC you get double the doses, etc. Add in the Master Alchemist Feat and you get to add in your INT bonuses on the total doses made at the end.

Makes sense? Yeah it does to me too.

So Arashi Poison Crafting before the expedition

3 Days:
Day 1: Black Adder Venom: Roll 4 +10 = 14 vs DC 11 = Success 1 Dose

Day 2: Small Centipede Poison: Roll "20" + 10 = 30 vs DC 11 = Success (DOUBLE the DC, almost triple) = 2 Doses

Day 3: Shiv Dragon Poison: Take Ten = 20 vs DC 14 Success 1 Dose
