Questions, Comments, Concerns -- Ask Them Here

Post by Vardaen » Tue Jan 15, 2008 12:11 am

This is a general, "Ask the GM" thread that we can use for asking about the game both for nuts and bolts and for theme.

Please note, the game has started.

Well, I picked up my copy of the Warhammer 40K Dark heresy book last night. Its 400 pages, that's alot of stuff!

They have an adventure in the end called Illumination, I may run this adventure just to help get the swing of things with all the expanded rules, if you have the book PLEASE DO NOT READ THE ADVENTURE.

That being said, I started into it, but didn't get far. I did manage to read up on healing however, which is left out of the quickstart rules.

Also, I will allow people to make new characters AFTER this intro adventure, or to expand their current characters using the full rule set. Those people that choose to make new characters will be able to carry over their XP from one character to another with no penalty.

Hey Var, where did you get your book? I'm having a hard time getting my hands on it.

I also now have the DM Screen w/ Adventure. I ask no one else to read this adventure as I might just use it as well. Thanks.

A comment to the players.

Please be aware that Literacy is a skill required by your character to have inorder to read. If you do not have Literacy skill, you simply can not read. If you do have it you can read any language you can speak. Further rules for Literacy Skill are in the book in the Literacy listing in skill section.

For those of you who are Imperial Worlders ... I believe you all have Literacy as a Basic Skill, which means you can 'kinda' read even without being skilled I think ..
