Character Sheets and Google Documents

Hey all, I nearly had an implosion of Solaria's sheet today, good of Excel got all corrupt, but luckily I had a back up of it from last month. Few tweaks and its good to go.

Now then, in most of the D20 games we are slowly converting them over to Google Documents, a really nice feature on Google that allows for real time sharing of documents. You might have seen this in use at BrenCon between Bren and Bit, or you might already use them for games like Aratta, Hordelands, Eberron, Zakhara, etc...

We already have all the sheets on excel, so I'm going to take this one step further and place them on Google Docs. Please look for a email from me about this.

You'll log into google/gmail and be able to edit your sheet there, and whatever changes you make I see (as you are making them even). And whatever changes I make you see. Its great for this game where bullets are constantly being updated, etc.

I think I have everyone's sheets pretty much the same, and they are all updated. So please once you get your google mail confirmation about this, please log in check it, confirm by changing the "I SEE MY SHEET" box on the front page so I know you have logged in and looked at it.

From then on out, we'll be using these sheets. I won't accept other versions, but we also won't need other versions.

I would like to point out, however, none of my xls sheets have been tested with Google Documents.

That sheet has been dramaticly changed since you left, since this 40K had no formuals in it, it works out nice.

I know Brennor checked his sheet, anyone else?

Or I shoudl say, very few formulas (weight and XP Total).

Yeah, this version of the sheet works really well in Gdocs. Only a couple of simple formulas.

Alright folks, I've gone through the sheets a second time, and even added your Map Icon Images to the front page.

Everyone should be using these now. I will not longer be using the excel sheets doing the email dance!
