Known History
Renik grew up on the primitive world of Loss; home to many tribes settling the vast archipelagos that dotted the largely ocean covered surface. For many generations the people of Loss worshipped the ‘Sky People’ and their own ancestors, not having seen anyone from the greater Imperium in centuries. It was only after Renik went through his rites of passage and became an adult in his own tribe that the forces of the Imperium returned to Loss.
The sudden appearance of the Sky People, on their silver sky birds came at an fortuitous time for Renik. His tribe was on the brink of war with another, larger tribe and his father had just been killed by their champion. Days after this tragic event Renik had murdered his own tribes leader in revenge for sending his father to his death and was on the run. Captured by the Imperial Guard send to exact a tribute for the Emperor he was about to be executed when an Acolyte in service to the Inquisition saved his life. Since then he has been integrated into Imperial life and serves the Inquisition when needed.
