The Adept gives an excellent suggestion, dictating a report to Jericus would be an very useful last act for Iorgo. It may even keep his name from being stricken from all Clerical records and the man from being remembered as a mutant trader to the God-Emperor.

The group arrives at the great Plug that seals the mines, it will take 30 minutes for the Guardsmen outside to open the seal...

Xanthia nods to the other woman at her comment. "Yeah, it is. Would have been better without the return strikes though." A grim smiled covers her features.

Then she is silent for the remained of the trip until the plug is reached.

"Jericus' suggestion is a good one at least. Worthwhile taking a report at least."

She is physically tired, but tried not to let it show, even though there is blood dripping from her ear again.

She is weary of the black pool, waiting for someone else to cross before she wades in with both sword and pistol at the ready.

Ishmael just nods, then starts banging on the seal. "Let us out!" The middle-aged man expect a quick reply.

The great seal starts to move...

Outside the massive beasts of burden are gathered up from their pens, and hooked up to the massive seal. They begin the slow process of opening the mines, it will take 30minutes before the seal is open far enough for anyone to fit through.

As they wait, Jericus takes out his data-slate and begins to compile a report for the Inquisitor. If Iorgo wishes, he'll take the mutant's statement. If the former cleric declines, then the adept will prepare his report on the troubles they found in the mines.

Mir waits impatiently as slowly the great round seal begins to move. He hates the darkness of the mines and unconciously shows it. He can not wait for the first rush of fresh air to leak in from the surface world. Knowing that it will help cleanse the stench of death and corruption from his nostrils...

"I am ready, Scribe. Please record my story, Jericus..." Iorgo then tells everything he can remeber to the man, once he is ready...

While the six wait for the plug to open Iorgo gives his tale to Jericus to record. The story is much like any of yours, the man's background might be different, but his joining of the Acolytes, and his contact with the Inquisitor is similar enough. Joining of the Acolytes and his thrust into this situation with no real training, or preamble mirrors all of yours. The tale of the mutants clerics could be any of yours, and perhaps, that small similarity strengthens your bonds together.

The seal opens up, wide enough for you all to exit... wide enough for the mutant to escape the mines...

Ishmael nods at everything. "Ok," he says, "Mir, take him over there, end his suffering quickly." The older Hive dreg expects this to be done, and simply walks out of the shatters, tucking his hand canon back into its holster.

Jericus finishes scribing Iorgo's tale and steps forward to get the mutant's thumb print as a signature. Afterward, he offers Iorgo his hand and simply says, "I'm sorry Iorgo." In the end, there's not much more to say that wouldn't be patronizing or stupid.
