Frastus looks over at Mir, and seeing the rosette of the Inquisition sitting on his belt, he shakes his head.

Count on a meat-shield to blow his cover so fast, Frastus thinks to himself.

He motions Mir to come near him, and hisses, "Put that thing away! You are blowing are cover!"

After that, he waits for his other companions, pleased that he arrived first.

It is the little things that prove one's worth first he thinks to himself, a sickly gray smile stretching across his face.

"My axe always hangs there citizen. Who are you to tell me to hide it?". Mir not really realizing exactly what the stranger means. Gives the man an aggravated look...

When Jericus gets his note, he quickly stuffs his few meager possessions into his pack and rushes out to get to the meeting. No telling if they'll give me time to come back here - not that I'll miss it if they don't.

The layout of the city is confusing, he knows. But having spent the better part of his life making his way through Administratum buildings, he's not too worried about losing his way. He trudges along, head down, shoulders slumped. Just one more mindless drone hurrying to work. He does nothing to draw attention to himself, not even acknowledging his teammates should he see them. There's no telling whether they're even supposed to know each other outside of the Inquisition.

Jericus leaves his hovel and the hab block behind as he makes his way through the Adminstratum district of the Hive Sibellus. He trudges along head down, another drone in the hive, he eventually reaches the hub right before his destination. To a street to the north the location and the goal lie, but here in this small square he spys Mir and the strange man known as Frastus taking to one another. Mir has his Inquisitorial Rosette proudly displayed on his belt. Perhaps the dawn fall of being an illerate backward guardsman, or perhaps he had different orders? Perhaps the man is here by coincidence, and has nothing to do with Jericus' task.

Jericus (who is unnoticed by Mir and Frastus), and in fact any of the other two, must travel north a few minutes if they wish to continue on their way.

Jericus pauses at the intersection, looking at the meager identification marks that tell where he is. He uses the opportunity to glance at Mir and Frastus, hoping that he just looks like a man pausing to get his bearings.

That Mir was openly advertising his connection with the Inquisition was likely not good - though who could tell what his orders had been. And Frastus talking to him was another potential vulnerability to their cover, though possibly a necessary one to limit the damage caused by Mir. But there seemed no benefit to breaking his own cover as well. He had no desire to explain to his superiors why three of them had been compromised.

And so, with a quick glance left and right as if to confirm he was going in the right direction, Jericus turns and heads down the north passage, not giving Mir and Frastus so much as a second glance.

Jericus, with head down, and cloak up, lumbers along paying only minor heed to Mir and Frastus. He doesn't want to ruin a third cover, so he slips north along the tunnel and eventually comes to the destination.

Jericus has made his way through the bustling faceless masses of the Administratum quarter to an unmarked service elevator platform set in the rear of a vast and imposing building covered in bas-reliefs of skulls, half draped urns and other symbols of death, crowned by an immense statue of a weeping saint. It appears that he is expected; the wizened face of the platform's inbuilt servitor studies the adept and pronounces "Pass" as he climbs on board. As Jericus' superiors implied, he is not the only person called to task here, and he must wait for the others to arrive. The doors of the lift open and Jericus stands within the door looking inside at those others present waiting.
Jericus/Trogdor, please post to the Mechanicus thread along with Tetnak and jigglypuff69. The rest of you keep RPing here until you get caught up.

Frastus looks over at Mir, and mutters something under his breath, before he looked the Guardsman in the eye.

"Your rossete," he says to Mir. "I'm talking about your rossete. Put it away. Didn't you read the orders? No one is supposed to know we work for the Ordos."

He waits for Mir to put the Inquisition symbol away before turning north and heading for their destination, not waiting for the guardsman to follow.

Quietly embarassed at being unable to read Mir quickly tucks the symbol of his position back into the deep recesses of his clothing. Peering carefully at any nearby pedestrians. "Perhaps we did not recieve the same orders, FRIEND". The large guardsman taking on a slightly gruff tone as once again he begins walking towards his destination...

Mir's comment is clearly a cover, since Frastus and Mir both were there in the chamber where the data slate was read by Jericus. The orders were the same, at least there. Perhaps at home they were different, but it seems unlikely. Frastus and Mir both turns and head to the north seeking their final destination.

Well, I'll have you guys join the other thread as well. Leaving only Brennor to post to this one.

Xanthia awakens, drenched in sweat, to the pounding on the door of the courier. She quickly throws on her flak vest and grabs her laspistol before approaching the door to open it and let the courier in to deliver the message.

She glances down at the message before grunting at the courier and nearly slamming the door in its face.

She can tell that she's already running late and isn't really familiar with the hive. A bad sign.

She proceeds to quickly get dressed and gather the rest of her gear, at least happy to be out of this place soon.

Heading through the door and locking it for hopefully her last time, she turns and trudges into the vast corridors of the Hive, trying to make the appointed intersection.
