Re: Among the Missing
"Now this is interesting! Have a looks at these!" Solaria starts to hand out items to the others, setting hers in front of her, on a crate lid.

Re: Among the Missing
Jericus scans over the cognomen and pass token assigned to him, but is drawn immediately to the data-slate, skimming through it with a speed that comes from years of reading, writing, and sorting mountains of administrative data. After a few moments he looks up and back at Sand.
"We're to be representatives of Coblast Assay, then?" He nods. "Any chance that Coblast could acquire Arbest's debts? They can't be more than a few hundred thrones - and I'm sure they could be bought for a tenth of that. He must have accumulated some debt since he was rendered invalid. He had to eat somehow. And whoever carries the debt is like as not to simply come in and clean out his rooms of whatever's of any worth to pay for them. Might as well be us. There might be something of interest there. And no one will look twice at debt collectors - not for a man who hasn't been working for two months. Besides, it'll let us ask prying questions without anyone getting suspicious."
He pauses for a moment, then adds. "And if he doesn't have any debt, that tells us something too. Then we need to find out where he got the money to live on. Follow the money trail and we may find the source of his problems."

Re: Among the Missing
Sand's voice is a bit annoyed, "Any debt that the deceased has accumulated is now the debt of his next of kin, his sister. The Coblast Assay is not in the habbit of taking on the debt of unknown mid hivers. However starting with his sister, and finding out about hid debt certainly sounds like a place to start. Your cover should hold up to casual observers in that part of the hive. If you find it nessicary to buy off the scum there, do as you see fit to get the job done. I expect you to co-operate to get this mission accomplished as befits the Inquisition's chosen, and to defer to the wisest in their own field when needs be. We will be watching your results, and success on your own will speak volumes, failure screams."

Re: Among the Missing
Frastus quitely gathers the items that were for him, slipping the overcoat over his tattered rags, and looks towards the others, waiting for when they are all ready to depart.

The Tech-Priest is relatively quiet. He knows he will stick out quite easily here." He dons the overcoat over his robe, and immediately thinks the idea is flawed. He says nothing, however, attempting to calculate what to do instead of wearing the overcoat. There is no way he would expose himself beneath his robes, and such, does not see much of a choice. He takes the other things and stores them immediately, ready to depart when the others are ready.

Xanthia accepts the various items, tucking them into pockets as they are provided to her.
She then grabs the overcoat and tries to see if it will fit over her flak jacket and how well she can move while within both items.
The others are asking good questions, so she concentrates getting herself ready to do what she is good at.

Re: Among the Missing
The group takes the single items assigned to them, and toss on the overcoats. Jericus the Adept has already claimed the Coded Data Slate, leaving a few items still to be sorted out, such as the Money Pouch, and the Bio-Sample Kit.

Re: Among the Missing
Soalria looks at the others and shrugs, taking the thrones and bio-sample kit, placing both in her backpack. The other items issued find a home there, but the overcoat, she slings over her shoulder for now. She'll decide what to do with that later.

Re: Among the Missing
Soliara collects that last of the items, and the Acolytes are equiped, they have a cover story, some IDs to handle that at least, and the right look for that hive.

Re: Among the Missing
Jericus looks down at the overcoat that now marks him as a resident of the hive. He shrugs and looks up. It wasn't any worse than a lot of things he'd had to wear over the years.
"Just one question," the acolyte replies. "I assume we're on our own in dealing with the authorities. But is the use of lethal force on this mission acceptable to the Inquisition?"
