Haxtes shoots over his ally and attempts to fry the familiar.
If it is possible, use semi-auto burst (2 shots). +10 aim, +10 close range, +10 semi auto, -10 shoot over ally?
It not possible, he will just shoot, and aim again.
+10 aim, +10 close range, -10 shoot over ally
Haxtes holds his lascarbine up over Rego and unloads into melee. The energy discharge of the weapons blasts into the Scalpel Familiar as Haxtes' aim is drawn to the foul piece of machinery, a mockery of the Machine God's spirit. Only one of the blasts hits, but it tears through the armored body of the floating familiar. Sparks arc off the thing, and two of the many tendriled arms go limp, the buzzing of a drill quieted by the action. The anti-grave devices that keep it a float remain working, but the thing seems to be in bad shape already.
Haxtes: Fire Into Melee -20, Semi Auto Burst +10, Point Blank +30, Small Size -10, Aim +10: 41 vs 54 Hit Body (All Hits Considered Body) for 11 Wounds '€" 3AR '€" 3T = 5 Wounds
Aiming was from last round. Fireing into Melee is different than firing over a friendly (like Jericus did), and you are at point blank range (3 meters or less) so that's better than short. 2 charges spent and sheet update don google.
The two newly arived body snatchers scream and howl and charge forward. They are as trapped from fighting you as you are from fighting them. They scream and flail their arms about impotently as they can't reach you yet. They do however block your line of sight to the Churgeon and the rest of the chamber.
move/move
I need to update the map but I don't have it here. THe BSs are behind the front lines a few squares.
Xanthia considers pushing the creatures back by bodily forcing them back, however, she thinks that her sword might do a better job of it than she might be able to physically do.
She aims a careful shot at the Homonculite and then swings her hefty sword upwards from near the floor, hopefully into the gut of the thing.
Xanthia considers pushing back one of the enemies, but then figures it might just be better to kill one of them. So she waits for an opening and then hacks into the side of the homonculite just under its armpit. The sword in the assassin's hand bites in deep through the creation's skin and into the various heretical organs inside. She twists and it screams through its mask, she kicks at the standing corpse and the honomculite topples backwards to the floor with a bang. Twitching and wiggling the creation is dead, its nerves just not know it yet.
Xanthia: Aim +10, Attak Homon: 44 vs 53 Hit Body for 11 Wounds '€" 4T = 7 Wounds, DEAD!
Nice hit.
Soliara, with an opening right in front of here...
"Move up with me!" Solaria take the opportunity to advance and sees the body snatchers coming their way. Needing to slow them own, she rotates the barrel of the shotgun around and opens up fire on the closest one, hoping the buckshot will tear the creature apart...
Move foward (North) 2 spaces and fire (Close range) at Body Snatcher #1
I am the voice of Never Never Land, the innocence of every man, I am the empty crib of Peter Pan. A silent kite against the blue, blue sky, every chimney every moonlit sight. I am the story that will read you real, every memory that you hold dear...
Soliara steps forward pushing into the room and calling out for others to follow her. She pivots and points her shotgun at the nearest body snatcher. In pointblank range the Arbite pulls the trigger and lets a blast of buckshot fly through the air slicing into the side of the Body Snatcher. Somehow the blast goes to the right, and the thick mutated hide of the creature takes the impact and turns it. When the dust settles and the smoke from the barrel clears the Body Snatcher is only scratched very lightly! The Emperor must have been busy elsewhere this time for Solaria.
Solaria Move/Shot Gun BS#1 (Point Blank +30): 54 vs 70 1 Hit: Body for 8 Wounds '€" 4T-3AR=1 Wound
The Churgeon is cursing as eletrical arc jump from device to device, she bangs on the controls and then hits a big red button on the side of the consol. There is a high pitched buzzzing ring that is emited, and the screens all flash red-black over and over. She turns, finished with whatever she was doing on the consol and levels her laspitol at Solaria now. Pulling the trigger the las weapon hums up as it charges and then a deep whinne is heard as it nearly overloads. Banging the side of the gun with her other hand she avoids a full melt down on the weapon, but she never gets a shot off.
Churgeon: Machine Work/Shoot Soliara 96 JAM! (Reliable: 8) Not Jammed
Whatever she was trying to do, she's finished. What that means, and what good Jericus' blasting the crap out of the consol will not be made visible until the fight is over and you get time to examine things.
Then the Scalpel Familiar unleshes its fury on Xanthia, it strikes out with all of its actuators, needles, drills and of couse scalpels. It slices and dices, and its all Xanthia can do to dodge and duck and spin her armor infront of the blades. Some how she manages to avoid the attacks, praise Terra!
Scalpel Familiar: All Out Attack Xanthia: 62 vs 60 Miss!
Jericus, having done what good he can be blasting the Churgeon's machinery...

Trying to leave room for Rego to advance, Jericus takes careful aim at the scalpel homonculus and fires.
Aim and shoot at the scalpel. I think the benefit from aiming is as good as or better than the penalty for firing through Xanthia's square. Unfortunately, I managed to leave my zip drive at home that has all of my game stuff on it, so I can't double check. IF it's better to move 1 N and then fire, do that.
Jericus steps up, and takes aim on the Scalpel familiar, the simplisty of the creation isn't lost on the Adept. A whirling construct of blades and medical equipment, like a scribe servo skull, but designed for lab work, and for killing in this case. He takes aim on its head and fires a bullet into it's main body. There is an explosion of blood from it! Falling backwards and bouncing off the ground a few times the scalpel familiar leaves a streak of blood on the floor, dispite it not having any organs. A scream escapes it, a death wail as its lights fade and it dies like some beast.
Jericus: Move 1N, Point Blank +30: 45 vs 62 Hit Body for 10 Wounds '€" 3T '€" 3AR = 3 Wound, DEAD!
Rego, now with an opening before him...
Jericus 1N, Scalpel Familiar Dead

Rego, seeing his chance to bring the Emperor's wrath, strides forward to one of the Body Snatchers and slices his tactical blade across the beast's meaty flank.
Rego pushes forward now that the enemies in the front line are dead. He brings his greatsword around in a powerful arc and hacks into left leg of the Body Snatcher. The blow from the cleric's greatsword nearly takes the leg clean off the mutant beast. The leg is crippled, hacked to the bone, muscle and flesh peals away from the Body Snatcher's leg and it screama and howls in impotent rage as it staggers to its knee on that side. Rego lifts his blade high, blood and gore dripping from it in glorious victory.
Rego Move/Attack Body Snatcher #1: 19 vs 43 Hit Left Leg: 17 Wounds! '€" 4T -3AR = 10 Wounds!
