Jericus's eyes meet Damien's, and the acolyte doesn't shy away from the psyker's gaze. The horrors that Jericus has faced have for the most part been man-made. But man's capacity for horror is great enough.

Jericus nods a greeting to Damien and at the psyker's added comments, the corner of his mouth rises ever so slightly in the hint of a smile. The psyker was engaging in a crude attempt at seizing power immediately in this new relationship. Commend your target on a job well done, but imply that if it hadn't been done correctly you have the power to see the target punished. Drop important names if you have to. It was a naked grab for rank he didn't have. But it was often effective with the uninitiated. The psyker certainly had some understanding of how to manage people.

"I do my best in the service of the Emperor," Jericus replies dryly. "Have you checked in with the crew of The Brazen Sky," he asks, "or were you waiting until we could all approach together?"

The Psyker shrugs. "If you are the leader of this expedition, then our pace is set by you. I am simply ... a specialized consultant and observer. That is all. Within the parameters of your Mission, I am yours to command." He gives a slightly mocking bow. "The Brazen Sky is ready to depart as soon as we are aboard. Are there any other introductions or questions before we embark?"

Solraia nods to the man, pointing to her beautiful counterpart, "This gem is Xanthia and I am her battle sister, Solaria." She smiles to the man, knowing full well her looks have been lingered over in the past.

Behind Solaria and Jericus travels a tall, painfully thin man dressed in the vestments of the Ecclesiarchy. The exotic styles of the Hive World Coscarla are written large across his features, unmuted by his priestly attire. The man's skin is practically obsidian in shade, eerily reflecting the washed-out fluoresence of the hangar bay. His hair, in contrast, is silvery-white and shaved in an intricate patterns, with those parts that are not razored away grown long, spiked, and twisted into a bizzare, jagged style that vaguely resembles a halo at the right angles. The cleric's eyes are no more - both are replaced with cybernetic lenses the that swim like quicksilver.

Where most conventional Clerics of the Emperor would carry a holy staff, this man carries and supports himself with the largest sword most have ever seen outside the Adeptus Astartes. Chopped off crudely at six feet on the blade, and over half an inch thick, it is unlikely that the man carrying it could even wield the thing in battle. Of course, as expected of inquisitorial agents, he also has an array of weapons on his belt, both blades and guns, that are somewhat less... "showy".

When the newcomer Damien locks eyes with the Cleric, he smiles a smile of perfect ivory teeth, then inclines his head.

"... and I am Rego Pertinax."

The man following has a dark hood and wears the robes of the Tech Priests of Mars. His face is hid by a strange breathing apparatus and he eyes the newcomer curiously. He has all kinds of strange gadgets and tools strapped to his body. Everyone knows that the Tech Priests replace some of their bodies with Mechanicus Implants, though there is a lot of gossip and rumor about what is really under their wide robes. He just nods to the psyker.

Xanthia inclines her head at the psyker as Solaria introduces her. Slightly below average height, the lithe woman looks over the man in the robes, her violet eyes picking out many details that others may have missed. Her blonde hair is tipped with black and reaches to her shoulders, though right now it is tied back. A slight sneer decorates her lips, something that is sure to be seen more later. She is also wearing a well abused flak jacket, partially visible underneath an overcoat. A helmet also dangles from the pack on her back. At her waist hangs a sword on one side, offset by a pistol grip on the other. It seems that she is likely able to use both.

One by one the Acolytes introduce themselves to one another. The new man Damien is your contact here, an Imperial Sactioned Psyker. He awaits any further questions but there are none at the moment. The trip on the Brazen Sky will be long and boring and you'll have enough time for more questions onboard.

So with no further delay everyone heads through the guard station, you are granted access and soon find youselves being hustled and bustled about the docking pad. Eventually you are ushered into one of the Lighters, and without much fan fair are sealed up inside. A double bang from the crew chief working outside on the door echoes into the hold, some static is heard on an internal vox mounted on the wall. "....all clear..."

The engines spin up, and the roar and rush of the fuel through the lines fills your ears. Haxtes can sense the Machine Spirit waking, and the ship soon is rumbling so violently you aren't sure this wasn't a bad idea, but then it lifts off, and you are certain this was! It rumbles and shakes as it gain altitude until suddenly the shaking stops, and the smooth sense of weightlessness over comes you as you break the atmosphere. Your lighter makes for The Brazen Sky in high orbit over the planet and within the hour you are docking in the hangar bay of the massive cargo ship.

The door ramp is opened and more crew, this time all lightly attired men, escort your out of the Lighter, and offer some kind words, "Welcome to the Brazen Sky sirs. You have been set up in our delux suites as fitting for men and women of your status. Only the best we have to offer for you." He moves through the ships narrow halls, noding to other men moving through them on their business. He points out a few places of interest as he winds you through the confusing passages, "This area is restricted....that's the Mess....that area is restricted, that area is too, so is that area...there's the Head.... restricted, restricted, restricted.... and here we are in your crew area." He grabs a round handle spins it unlocking the pressure value and swings the door open. "See you in three days." He motions for everyone to head on in.

Delux is not a word anyone would use to describe your new living quarters for the next three to four days. The Brazen Sky is a cargo hauler, and not a passanger barge, and it shows, dramatically. You have found yourselves in a wide open crew bay with lumpy cots, mismatched fittings, a few flickering glow lamps, and rusted out bulkhead that looks ready to give way. One of the glow lamps flickers out and doesn't come back on for the remainder of your trip. A grinding noise behind one of the walls suddenly screams out as some piece of ancient machinery hidden away starts works (or stops working you can't tell).

Laying on one of the cots is a half sleeping man.

Welcome to The Brazen Sky.

"Excuse me, Ensign..." Solaria is not sure of this man's title, especially since she never served with the Imperial Navy, but hopes it suffecient, "Are there area's to train, an empty cargo hold perhaps? And why so many restricted areas on a cargo ship? I thought we were guests of 'status'. I can assure you that we will cause no problems." The feeling of the recycled air on the ship is not lost on the woman, as the coppery stale taste settles on her tongue.

Jericus takes in the trip to orbit with a watchful eye. He's not exactly what would be called an expert on interplanetary travel. But at least having done it before he has at least a passing familiarity with the procedure. Curiously he's actually impressed with what's not restricted, rather than what is. On his first trip out, he was a virtual prisoner in a cramped cabin with three other people, let out twice a day to eat and use the head. And it had been longer than three days, that was for sure. And while the cots were lumpy and the surroundings dilapidated, it was still a step up from many of the places he'd once called home.

While Solaria corners the ensign, Jericus moves forward and tosses his small pack on a top bunk away from the door - slight;y less undesirable than the rest. Then he turns and faces the man on the bunk. "Hello," he says. "I'm afraid it's not going to be a private cabin after all." He gives the man a half smile.

The crew man reacts to the Ensign with a positive enough reply, but doesn't confirm or deny that's his rank or title. "You are certainly guests on board, that can't be denied. The ship is private property, and as a result the areas restricted protect our owner, and you at the same time. I can't say more or less on the subject except I hope you enjoy the trip." The man isn't being rude per say, but has nothing else to add, this is just how things are here.

The man on the bunk rolls over as Jericus speaks to him. "What? Oh hello there!" His face breaks into a huge smile, "More passangers? Well isn't it my lucky day." He rolls to a sitting position and offers his hand in a shake. "Names Sebek, pleased to meet you, very pleased to meet you. This ride can be really boring all by yourself, and now here I am blessed with a full load of friendly faces. Names Sebek if I didn't mention that, wowwee, other passangers, haven't had other passangers on this run in months." He starts to look a tad unstable, friendly, but a tad unstable. "So, what was your name again? Anyhow you see I'm Sebek a merchant of sorts, if you need anything, anything at all, you know stuff you might not be able to find in your regular haunts, I might have it. I have a whole load of things that I ain't...well that ain't totally...well that are hard to come bye." He taps with his foot a heavy locked container that is stuffed under his bunk. "You need anything, anything at all you ask me, Sebek, I been on this run before plenty of times, plen-tee-o-times!" He smiles, "What was your name agian friend!" He's latched on to Jerics, the Adept's done it now.
Congrats on being thei first one to talk to Sebek, he's all yours now :)
