Kos'ke laughs with Soliara, "A woman who knows her worth! Excellent!" He elbows one of his men with a vile grin on his face sayings he's had his fair share of females in his day and knows what he likes. "We have seen them too, every night for months save for last night. The Abbot knows what Esha thinks about his choice of places to building his shrine to the God Emperor. The danger is yours, not ours. The Ashleen have lived a long time away from this bloody hill." He narrows his gaze, "Just who are you anyhow?"

"My name is Solaria Limentus, Adeptus Arbite and Inquisitional Acolyte. This is Xanthia and Father Rego," motioning to the others. We took a bit of a trip up on the hill yesterday and found a warp creature there. It was dispatched, but our questions of who summoned it or how it got here are unanswered." She cocks her head off to one side, "Why is it the Ashleen have stayed away from this hill?"

Rego listens to the conversation, but more importantly to what is being said in the crowd that surrounds the war boss. His eyes looking for even the slightest of unease amoungst the gathered Ashleen...
Scrutinizing the crowd and warboss.

Kos'ke's attitude changes slightly when he hears that Solaria is an Inquisitorial Acolyte. A bit of respect is seen there by Rego. The Warboss shakes his head, "Killed a warpbeast? That is good of you. Strong, I could tell you could handle yourself." He checks out the group's weapony, "You'll need all the weapons you can if things go sour here. The hill is cursed, so the Death Singer says. I don't know why or who, but if Esha Raine says so, then it is so. For generations the Death Singers have kept the Ashleen away from here for some reason. Warp beasts in the hills seems good enough a reason for me." He glances up at the Cathedral, "The Plainsong is to start soon, I must not be late for it. Will you be attending?"

"Oh, I wouldn't miss it, Kos'ke. Would you care to walk together there? We could speak about this more and decide what the best course of action would be if something goes sour today. I've had several worries, not just the beasts, but the possiblity of attack or some outside group being responsible for bringing that thing here..." Solaria motions to Xanthia and Rego to ready themselves to return for the dedication. "Father, stay close. I have a feeling that blade will be wetted before this day is done." The Arbite looks back to Kos'ke, "Shall we? It will look good to your men if it appears that you are escorting a woman. For protection of course." She smiles a naughty smile, knowing how these games of appearance are played between leaders and followers.

"It will not be the first time my blade has been doused in sacrifice, nor will it be the last I assure you", Rego states matter of factly to Solaria. Then with a wary eye he turns and falls in behind his compatriot...

Xanthia remains the strong silent type, her weapons inches from her waiting hands, but she doesn't interrupt Solaria or Rego. She falls in step behind Solaria and Warboss Kos'ke.

The Warbos nods to Solaria, "I haven't met many woman like you from the Imperium, a shame really." He motions in agreement to head to the Cathderal together. "I am the Warboss of this area, none of the other tribes are foolish enough to do anything today, not here. If they did, it would be full out war with me, and they aren't that stupid." He is confident in his control of the Ashleen that is plain to see on his face.

The group, Inquisitor Acolytes and Ashleen Warriors head from the warriors camp around the hill to the front of the rise that leads up to the Cathedral. Just up ahead the group can make out Jericus, Haxtes, Damien and Lamark (limping as he goes) making their way, and it looks like your groups will link up.
I'll link this thread back there once they are caught up, should be today I would guess. Maybe tomorrow.

"Thank you, Kos'ke. I'd like to think I'm one of a kind. I have to say I'm equally impressed with you. I like a leader that can get things done. I have something for you. A little token I took off a man, after I shot his arm off.Oh, I never really did care for people trying to kill me. A present, one that I hope will solidify our new friendship." Solaria unslings the stub revolver, it's holster and belt. She slides a few extra rounds into the belt loops and tooses it over to Kos'ke with a smile. "Here ya go, Bossman."
Give him the stub revolve I took from dead guy and the twelve rounds it had. Add 12 more rounds from my trade stash. I'll update the sheet tomorrow when I can.

Xanthia remains behind the others, though she does look over Kos'ke and his retinue, watching how they respect the Ashleen warboss. It seems to her that Kos'ke has earned his respect, and therefore, she takes his words at face value... for the moment.

The comment about the lights being present for every night but last night doesn't slip her notice either. She makes a mental note to bring it up when they rejoin with the other acolytes.

Rego watches the crowd that has gathered along the war boss's path up the hill. The cleric having an uneasy feeling about the days agenda...
