Fellowship of the Dice

The Ashleen to the north continue to butcher and attack the locals, they hack the hand off an old man trying to protect the young boy. His hand falls to the ground as he stands there screaming in terrible pain. The other Ashleen Voice kicks the man over as he leaps toward the center of the camp looking at the collection of people there to attack.

The two Ashleen that are attacking the woman that Solaria is trying to reach are mostly invloved in their task. That is the one ferral man is. He continues doing what he's doing and brutalizes the poor innocent woman dispite her screams for him to stop. She will never be the same again after this. The other Voicer there lets go, noticing Solaria running toward them, he stands and draws his cleaver once more taunting Solaria forward, "You purdy, come give me some bitch!" He makes some lude gestures with his hips and hands.

The two fighting Rego continue to do so, throwing themselves into an even wilder frenzy they attack all out, ignoring any hope to dodge incoming blows. The one missing his arm is going pale, but swings his weapon poorly through the air staggering about, his rage keeping him on his feet. The other one swings his cleave in and slices Rego's robe, nearly connecting with the man's leg, but missing at the very last second by the grave of the God Emperor!

Solaria moves in closer, bringing up her bayonet tipped auto-carbine. She lines up the shot on the rapist, not the one that his friend expected in the least. "You're finished, pencil dick!", she says and fires off a shot at the man's back as he humps the poor woman. Solaria can see the pleading look of the woman and has to hold back tears of her own as she tries to save her life. As soon as the shot flies off, she brings the rifle into a fighting position, ready to parry the Voicer's cleavers...

Solaria steps up through the smoke and raises her carbine pointing it at the Voice that is busy humping the poor woman. Her eyes look up at Solaria with a touch of hope, but hope in this world can be a dangerous thing. The Arbite shouts, "You're finished!" *clink* the carbine fires one perfect shot the back of the man. The bullet burries itself in the kidney of the Voice shreding his organs. The Voicer arcs his back, screams and topples off the woman rolling to the side. Blood is spraying from the wound as he rocks back and forth for a few seconds and then dies laying there on his back, his pants around his ankles, his face twisted in pain. The Emperor Protects.
Rego, facing two wounded men, and hurt himself slightly...

Rego cringes, the cut stinging as he brings his massive blade to bear. He emits a scream, part pain and part extreme devotion to his cause. *WHOOSH*. The edge of the emperor's justice coming down at the uninjured heretic in a rush of air. "KNOW THE EMPEROR'S MERCY!!!"...

Rego cringes against his wounds, but he brings the massive blade around and emits a scream as he hacks into the chest of the lightly wounded Ashleen before him. The great sword chops into the chest of the man with a solid *THUNK* and wedges itself between some ribs. "KNOW THE EMPEROR'S MERCY!" Screams Rego as he braces a foot against the dead man on the end of his blade and kicks him off the weapon sending his corpse falling to the ground. The Ashleen around the camp are realizing that they are under attack and so begin to fight back. The one facing Rego, sans arm, swings widly into the air missing by a wide margin as the Cleric ducks the attack that has little hope of actually hitting him. The two Ashleen to the north that have butched man and son move toward the middle of the camp where a collection of innocent children are gathered around an old man and a woman. Solaria has dispatched one of the rapists, but the other one comes for her leaping the firepit. She easily dodges the attack of the slow moving cleaver keeping her safe from harm. Solaria, as the wind blows and the smoke shifts, the battlefield becomes choked with more smoke espcially around Rego and the center of the field...

Solaria risks a look over her shoulder and screams into her vox bead, "Rego, the children! We must get to the children!" She turns at the Ashleen that is assaulting her and snarls, thrusting the bayonet at him. She tries to pick her mark and hopes to drive the blade into the man.

"The God emperor's will protects those who are strong in faith, obviously this man is an unbeliever!", comes over the vox in tones muffled by his rebreather. A flash of steel accompanies Rego's words as his swing aims towards the man before him. "Pray for the God emperor's mercy for I will show you none"...

Solaria risks a look over her shoulder and can now see the children are in trouble. She stabs out with the bayonet but the strike is poorly timed, she is preoccupied with the kids to make a good hit. Rego on the other hand continues to strike home blow after blow, and he lands a heavy overhanded chop on the brainpan of the Voicer he's fighting. The sword cleaves the man's skull in two like a melon. The pieces fall to either side, leaving only the jaw and some flesh holding them attached to the neck like some macabre corpse flower. The body then topples over. Rego then bounds a few yards toward Solaria. The Ashleen facing Solaria attacks with his cleaver, the blow is on target, aimed right for the woman's arm, but she spins, lifts her weapon up and the bayonett of the gun catches and turns the primitive blade to the side leaving the Arbite unharmed. He's foaming at the mouth and screaming out wild insults at her now. The other two Voicers reach the kids and the civilians and bowl their way through them knocking the kids flying into the dirt. Hacking at the men standing there they leave terrible chop wounds in the innocent citizens of Stern Hope as they hack through them like paper trees on their way to get to you. Solaria...

Solaria's voice breaks Rego's stride and he suddenly changes direction. "...And fierce shall be the righteous man's wrath!!!", the cleric belts out as his new focus comes into view. Once again his sword rises level like a lance as his feet beat towards the heretics like ancient war drums upon the dirt...

Solaria can hear the screaming of the incoming and turns to meet the oncoming tide. She brings up her weapon, ignoring the slavering heretic to her rear and fires off a burst of stub rounds at the incoming Voicer. With the staccato of the weapon screaming a booming symphony, the Arbite lets a smile cross her face as she hopes to cut the men down...
