BrenCon 2008: Brennor's RPG Party! 2008

So we begin the offical 2008 thread.

Based on the voice of a few active players, and Brennor himself we are tenatively looking at setting the party for the first or second weekend in August 2008. This gives us lots of time to get things done for the party.

Some vital stats: (All subject to change based on you!)

When: August 2008, 1-3rd or 8-10th (1st or 2nd Weekend)

Where: Binghamton, New York, USA

Sleeping Arangements: Vardaen's House, Connie's House?, MadVlat's House?, Brennor's New House?

What: XCrawl Unsactioned Double Team, Deathmatch Crawl!

Prizes: Jigglypuff69 Character Minis, Special 'seal' from MadVlat Workshop, More!

RPG Location: Hoping to 'rent' the room at the local game store Center Field Cards and Comics for the days events, with breaks for lunch and dinner. Evening games at various houses.

Extra: Plenty of drinking, eating, fun, card games, RPGs and friendly comradery.

Note: Last year we were fairly scattered and unorganized, and it led to some people being left out of the games for an hour or maybe two. We will NOT let that happen again, promise! (Sorry Bitom and Connie).

I'd like to get some ideas of how many people might be able to come, who in town can put up rooms, ideas for games beyond the one JP and I have cooked up (which I think will rock), and other general comments, etc.

I'll be in the area both of those weekends, barring disaster, though my roommates are...touchy...about guests crashing, so I apologize for not being able to offer space to out-of-towners.

Either side of my birthday awesome!!!! I have no problem with creating the seal as we discussed. Though crash space at my place could be a problem. Sorry folks.

Excellent MV! This means we have som interesting prizes this year for our winning team. Time to start nailing down some more information about the events, and the location of the gaming.


Would people prefer we plan the games at Center Field or at someone's house? We would be willing to run it at my house, split between the besement gaming room and the back room (or perhaps even outside/garage if the weather is nice).

I'm going to add a poll to this thread about the day.
