BrenCon 2008: Brennor's RPG Party! 2008

The location...

Since we are looking at 15 people easy, the poll only lists 8 right now, but there are more who confirmed yes but aren't voters, Connie's Hubby, JP's Wife, etc. Plus the hope that others will still come, there is lots of time still, like Wayloss and Micro, Tet, Deadman, DoomulousPrime, etc.. we are well into the teens.

This means our homes are out of it, unless Brennor moves down here and buys a big ass place. So we have started looking into where to do it. Connie, and Amaris have been doing alot of the leg work for this, thank you ladies! We have a good lead on the Elk's Lodge, its 75$ a day (2 days) and we can use the kitchen for our own stuff, and can get the times (mostly what we want. Saturday night is the only issue).

So if this happens we are looking a 150$ for space, and 15$ for food. It would cost folks around 25$ each to attend to cover the cost, less if we have more. And if we run some raffles, the cost can be deffered alot by that. I hope this won't deter anyone from coming. When we know more about location, I'll post more.

Glad it's still reasonable for everyone! Also- space for staying will be provided for most people. So it's a good deal!

We would like to run some raffles or at least one raffle and we are looking for donations of items for the raffle. All the money earned will go toward off setting the cost of the event and toward the site's cost of being run, etc.

If you would like to donate an item please send me a PM and we can get things squared away. Or if you would like to offer a prize item for another aspect of the event let me know as well.


We hope to have several excellent prizes for those arriving at BrenCon.

Prizes to be given out...

Furthest Traveled -- Who traveled the furthest to get there, (as per Google Maps)

Best Sportsman, or Sportswoman -- As voted on by all players at the events.

Best Costume -- Show up in a costum, or wear one during the event. As voted on by players present.

Xcrawl Event --
I know all members that 'preSelect' characters for the Xcrawl will walk away with hand painted 25mm figures of their characters. (Please see other threads for details).

MadVlat has also offered a special prize to the winning team, and I hope he will be able to still provide.

Other Games --
Since there will be more than just Xcrawl at the event, if any of the GMs for those events want to offer up prizes or gifts, you are more than welcome to do so!
