BrenCon 2008: Site for Bren Con 2008!

Hi all, here are some photos of the Elks lodge. It's 75$ a day, so 150$ for the two days. Saturday we would need to be out by 4 and moved to a house or something, Sunday would be all day until we were done. They have a kitchen area et al.

I drove past the other day, and outside made it seem mcuh smaller.

By the look of the tables, I don't see why we couldn't use the place. It looks large enough, clean, and with the kitchen we would be good.

The bar, do we have a bar tender, are they were with us all day, or are we on our own, etc?

I personally vote we do it, and send in the 75$ deposit asap. I would like to try and talk them into letting us stay longer than 4 on Saturday, but all day Sunday sounds good too.

I'd like to hear others chime in (Admins espcially) before we pay up, but we need to do it soon to secure it.

longer on saturday is a no go. they will not let us stay past 4. they have a meeting at 5 and want the area cleared of us by their meeting. that's the drawback.

if there is some good wine... might be my home as well.. but most places only have wine- a-la-boxed... ~blach~
