Wh have a technical term for the desire to drive from CO to NY for a weekend event. I've dispatched some men in white coats to discuss it with you.

Actualy it would be MO to NY, maybe even KY as it would include family visits. For carpool, who is closest to Saint Louis?

Have a look at the "Great northeast carpool" thread, then. Pyg has already offered rides to those who are willing to bus from NY to poughkeepsie, although I don't know how your timeline will mesh with his.

I need to switch to a maybe. I've already deflected two events that folks wanted to schedule for that weekend but it seems everyone wants to get together on labor day for some reason or another. Which is silly since every other damn year I just lie on the couch and watch reruns of Double Dare.
