This year I'll be running a L5R RPG event. This will be the 4th Edition Learn to Play prepublished module printed by AEG called Legacy of Disaster. The entire thing should take up half of one day (4ish hours). As always things could go longer, but I can't possibly see it being too much more than that.

The game will be run with pre-generated characters that I present for you. There are 8 great clans that are possible to play: Crab, Crane, Dragon, Lion, Mantis, Phoenix, Scorpion, and Unicorn. There also are the choices of being a Bushi (Fighter) or a Shugenja (Priest).

I will be presenting minis for each player, done by JP69 so you know they will be totally awesome. I'm looking for some general input as to what people might be interested in playing, just so I can tell JP what to paint up. So for folks who might have the slightest interest in this, please chime in. No one has to make a great commitment yet I'm just looking for the general feeling towards clan types.

I know MV already expressed interest in the Phoenix (Shugenja or Bushi MV?).

This game will run with 6 characters, its designed for 6, but I can go as low as 4 and not any higher as it will bog things down too much I think.

You don't need to know the 4th Ed System, that's what this game is for, heck you don't even need to know L5R that is also what this is for.

I'd love to get in on this event. L5R seems like a game that I'd love, but I haven't had the time to research it or learn the clans and rules. I'd like to attend BrenCon, but I'm probably on the maybe list right now. I need to firm up the dates and discuss with fiancee.
