BC2011: L5R: Craft a Character Contest

Characters have started to arrive in my inbox. If you are planning on sending in a character you should get them to me soon.


Remember: The more detail the better, including 20 Questions, full detailed character sheet, and a history. Picture doesn't hurt either!

I've opened this up to even those not attending BrenCon, so feel free to send in things if you aren't coming.

And I'm willing to accept more than one character per person! So if you have a few good ideas, send in more than one character.

Note: If you are using 3rd Edition, try and keep your timeline to the Scorpion Clan Coup and Clan Wars (1123) if you are doing 4th Ed you cna move forward to 1169. Those are what my games are currently and it will be easier for me, but even if you don't, that's okay too.

I only recieved three entries for this contest I was hoping maybe for a few more, but I'll be revealing the winner tomorrow once I get a chance to thing things through a bit.

I recieved three character concepts, but really only two full character sheets! All three ideas were great and since I discovered that I had an extra prize for this I'm declaring a tie! (one for each system 3rd and 4th Ed)

Phlale & Hayabusa win! With MadVlat a close runner up (and since I never saw an actual character sheet from him, only verbal information he''ll understand).

Phlale made Daidoji Taysuke -- An Iron Crane Merchant and Magistrate for 3rd Edition.

Hayabusa made Horuichi Kasanagi -- A Unicorn Courtier for 4th Edition

Both characters were not bushi types, and more geared for the court and the honor/dishonor tactics that makes Rokugan so much fun. Both of you can expect to face these foes in some manner!
