I found a flight I can get entirely with my miles. Unfortunately, from DC to BGM is a prop plane. I have a strong fear of non-jet aircraft!

The flight from IAD - BGM really isn't that bad on a jet or the Saab-type... On the smaller turboprops it blows.

Gate-to-gate is about 1.5h. Airtime is more like 35m. Go up, cruising for a very short time and then come back down. At least in the Saab/jet type planes. In the turboprops, travel time is more like 55m.

We flew props every time. Either from DC or Philadelphia.
