Hmmm. I don't remember any local sours, so I had to do a bit of research. I'm not a into sours (more of a IPA, DIPA, AIPA guy).

Coming up empty on finding any local sours from Vermont. There's a couple that I found in draught form, but one of those is retired (for sure) and I think the 2nd one is also retired.

I'll ask around and see if I find any.

We have one called Brain of the Turtle which makes your mouth go inside out. A bit much for me, but still, good stuff.

I just opened the box and the Cider maker's choice is the Private Reserve Belgian White. From reading the box, it appears that the Cider Maker's choice is whatever they want to put in the box from their reserve or limited editions. So it should vary box to box.

Since it's Belgian White, I'll probably be keeping one for myself :) I'll probably grab another box on the way down along with some more beer. Maybe a growler if the brewery is open when I drive by it.

I'm not one for beer either, but I love cider! :)

If you want to save some space in your box, we can easily get the amber, granny smith, pear and 802 here at Wegman's. I love the 802. It is very very good.

There are also a bunch of other craft beers and some other ciders (Hornsby's and Original Sin) available.

I didn't realize Woodchuck was so popular outside of Vermont (it's made just down the road a bit in Middlebury). I'm just going to bring a few maybe a dozen or so, don't want to contribute too much to a drunken party fest :)

I'm trying to bring all Vermont made stuff. I'll stop by the store and see if I can find any better/rarer singles of cider. I'm not an expert on the matter, but the bev warehouse guys know a lot about it. I'll also try and bring some good Vermont cheddar for the burgers :)

I could bring some Washington DC made stuff. But you probably have all the gridlock and corruption that you need.
