You could just send her off in the background for some reason or another. I don't know what, since I don't know the character that much, but just find some reason that makes sense for Adora to drop everything and leave. Either that, or she could get kidnapped by Kainites and held hostage.

It would require you to retool the story a bit, but it seems to be the only other option, her getting relegated to the background through death or some other reason.

You guys still interested here, or should I move it to a different setting? Like modern day?

I really like the setting, especially for vampire...

far more exciting/dangerous, than a modern day type vampire game...

Granted I can't speak for everyone, but if we want to change the style I'd definitely still like to play.

(this is the post I accidentally stuck in LGaM... I suck!)

I like the setting, my posting has just been a bit curtailed because of busyness with school and the like. But if you feel the need to change it, modern is ok too.

Guys - I can't fight it anymore. I really don't have much desire to run this game. I have decided I am probably going to shut it down. I'm sorry.

I might run a new WoD game, I might not, I haven't decided that either. I will be sending the game to the graveyard in the next couple of days. I will be putting up a post about what type of game I'll be starting next in the Random Chatter section. Look for it there.

I like this game, but if you don't have the heart to run it anymore that's cool.

I'd rather play in something if it's fun for everyone, including the GM, than have somebody struggle through playing something they don't want to. (probably especially the GM in that case)

I'll keep a look out for future WoD games though, as I like the system. That and playing vampire characters just seems cool.

If I run another WoD game it will be in the present day I think.
