Warhammer: Dawn of War I or II (Or other games)
Hey all,
So I know some of you out there play video games, how can you not! I know some of you are 40K fans, and that you play Dawn of War 1 or 2. We totally should set up a time to play some multiplay or co-op games with these games.
I'm hooked on 40K: DoW 2: Chaos Rising right now so want to try and set up a game? I've love to play some co-op as a guest and join you in kicking heretic and xeno butt!
(I'm Vardaen on Steam and Live)

I just finished redoing Dawn of War and am working my way through Winter Assault now. After that comes Dark Heresy. I'm not familiar with Chaos Rising.

Chaos Rising is for DoW2, the expansion for it.

Is Dark Heresy DoW II, or is that still a part of DoW I?

That has Dark Eldar in it and the Sisters of Battle. Its kinda like Dark Heresy, where you have a global map and you fight for territory, but instead of just one planet you are moving among various planets, moons, etc. You also have global powers based on your race, and whatother race strongholds you have taken over.
DoW2 Single Player is way different than DoW1, you just get a squad of 4 guys (6 total but can only deploy with 4) and you do missions and quests with them leveling up and getting wargear for them as you advanace among the story, there is no base building anyplace in the whole game, even the multiplayer has only 1 base that levels up, and other than some gun turrets or minor shrines you don't build stuff.

Interesting.
I'll have to see what I can do about getting Soulstorm and DoW2.

SS is probably cheap right now if you can find it.
DoW2 you can get from Steam I think still, or in stores I'm pretty sure I saw it a local still recently still since the expasion is fairly new.

I'm still on the lookout for a cheap copy of Dragon Age too.
