Brennor's MMO Group

I'm not a hardcore MMO player and, from the sound of it, most folks on the site aren't either. However, when I play I like it to be with friends.
There are several games coming out soon including Star Wars: The Old Republic and also a Warhammer game. Furthermore, there are games out like Lord of the Rings Online which are free to play.
Let's get together and do some gaming!

I also am not a huge MMO player, but I do enjoy mutliplayer stuff.
I'll attempt to get into LotRO along with Bo on the Landroval server. Likely just be Vardaen there too.
I'm also playing Warhammer 40K Dawn of War 2 - Retribution. But am willing to play any of the Dawn of War games.
I'm Vardaen on Steam and Games for Windows Live! for the DoW series of stuff.

I started playing mmo's in 1999 with Eq which i feel is still the greatest virtual world ever.
How ever now days I play World of Warcraft on weekends and Rift during the week. I have played most major mmos including EQ, EQ2, EVE, LOTRO, WAR, Lineage 2.
I don't play as much as I used too but I still enjoy them.
I played a Captain named Chanur on Landroval.

Actually I see MMOs as a huge waste of time and have never played one before. I prefer a calm SP-experience where I can save and quit at anytime. The time difference is also a very annoying thing.
I'm currently downloading the US client for LOTRO, but I don't know if it works.
My Steam name is Ordo, but except for V I haven't heard of anyone else's steam account. Windows Live/Xbox Live ID is John117Spartan. Guess what's one of my favorite game series?

If you create a char on Landroval server, let me know what his/her name is so I can send a friend request to you... though aren't all games a 'waste of time' ? They are still fun

It just finished downloading and it's currently installing. Will be back when it's done and I checked if it works.

That's alright. I'm off this evening anyway.
I could connect and have a champion on the Landroval server. Gonna do the first few levels tomorrow.

I don't see mmo's as a waste of time. Gaming is like any other hobby.
