Ring of Air - Stronger than Steel

Kuni Zenko shakes what blood he can off his kimono, not liking the bakemono's blood staining his clothing for any period of time. While he may not have the great aversion the Crane has to that particular fluid, one does not treat the bodies of tainted creatures with only light concern. As for the conversation, he does not yet mention the Spider mon or message they intercepted for now. Learning more about the katana first could shed some light on the situation.

The pair of Yotsu join together, and now the two split groups stand together infront of the Yotsu Dojo. The dogmaster bows to the group politely, "Are they finished Hidakage-san?" The archer who was standing with Zenko nods to the other man, "Aye Yotsu Chen-sama, they are." The two ronin turn their complete attention on the blade, and you all. The one known as Yotsu Chen steps forward and reaches out toward the blade. "May I?" He asks before taking the blade and inspecting it, "This was Sho's blade." He looks to the other Yotsu and shows the man the hilt and pommel for confirmation. Hidekaga nods, "I agree. This blade belonged to our sister in arms Yotsu Sho." Chen hesitates to hand the blade back.

Umeko bows to the two Yotsu and speaks her soft voice belying her blood splattered apperance. "Then it is only proper that we return this blade to her brothers in arms I suppose." she then rises eying the two men for a moment before continuing "...although I must admit that we did not make our long way from the Crane Lands to Otosan Uchi to deliver the Blade. Much more we were curious as to why we found this blade there?" she then folds her hands and smiles pleasently hoping that the Yotsu can at least fill them in on what Sho-chan has been up to as of late.

Chen nods, "You said you found it in the Crane Lands? Not surprising I supose." He looks around the area, and then motions toward the door. "Please, let us head inside, its not safe to be out side if we don't need to be. I shall tell you what I know once there." He looks at Hidekage, "You will take care of the corpses Hidakage." The archer bows to the other man, "Hai!" The Yotsu bows to the group, "I'll see you later." Then stalks off toward the pile of dead bakemono to 'take care' of them.

Yotsu Chen motions at the door to the dojo, "Please let us go inside."

"Thank you for your invitation" Umeko replies with an elegant bow before heading inside.

[Hayabusa]

"Oh, well, I admire your decision to stay in these ruins, Youtsu-san," Ryuichi responds and cleans his blades with another scrap of the blanket he is carrying for this before sheating his swords.

He accepts the Yotsu's offer without a slight bow before taking a closer look at his wound.

Then the Kitsuki addresses the group's shugenja about his injury. "I'm sorry that I couldn't be of even more help Kuni-sama. It seems the beast were able to wound me in the encounter. I don'w want to bother you with this to much but could you take a look at this?"

The Kuni blinks in surprise, having not taken the time to notice the non life-threatening wounds of his comrades. "Of course, Kitsuki-san. It shall have to be a mundane healing, as the kami of the area seem decidedly unfriendly." He kneels down and pulls out his medicine kit, swiftly applying the bandages and salves to minimize pain and quicken healing.

"Thank you Youtsu-san." Kijuro replies to the offer. "Your generosity is most gracious." Moving inside the crane pauses a moment to remove his sandals and quickly follows the rest of the group inside.

[Vardaen]

Shuro pauses, "If you do not mind, I shall assit the Yotsu in sending the bodies away. The Lords of Death demand such attention from one of their followers." Shuro then moves to help Hidakage with the bakemono corpses.

Guess its offically, Kijuro is gone-gone.

The Yotsu escorts the group into a small chamber inside the dojo. The dojo has been retro fitted as a fortress. There are reienforced shutters on the windows, a wooden barricade that can be slid up to the door. Barrels of arrows and yari rest ready near the door or windows. Crates of food are stockpiled in the other chambers, and all in all the place has the feel of a Crab outpost near the Shadowlands. Chen brings you all into a small room off the front one, a table, with maps of the city, with pins and wooden blocks marking locations on it covers the table and the walls.

Zenko waits until the group is seated before he produces his medical kit and Chen nods, "Its a good idea, any wounds could get easily infected here. The city just hasn't been the same since our new neighbors moved in." The joke lightens the mood a bit. The war room has enough seating around the table for all you, plus a few more, and several pitchers of clean water already rest on a cupbard in the corner. "I am affraid I have no tea or sake to offer you, we ran out months ago, and haven't had a shipment arrive recently." He looks a bit upset at the notion, "Enough about our problems here, we shall endure. I must now ask, who you all are and what are you doing here?" He places the Yotsu blade on the table carefully, "You said you are not here only to return this, so I must wonder what your real purpose is."

Zenko wraps up the wounds on Ryuichi bandaging them up nicely.
