Ring of Air - Chopsticks and Daishos

Beyond the boarders of the Emerald Empire lies a vast and diverse world centered around the Burning Sands -- a place cursed by Shilah the Sun and Kaleel the Moon. For too long the Samurai in Rokugan have remained ignorant of the greater world around them.

Hideo looks at the man cautiously, he's not really the fighting type, at least not since he was a child. And the only weapon he's ever used is the tanto Kijuro had given him, and he's always used it as a tool, not a weapon. Shaking his head, and clearly nervous he takes a step back from the monk.

Tokugawa notices the stance change, and immediately draws a flesh cutter and places prepares to nock it, aim, and fire if needed.

Masu takes the lid of the crate and throws it to the ground, "I don't know who you are, or what game you think your are playing, but you have made a grave mistake. You are dealing with powers beyond your simple understanding." He comes around the wagon.

"No matter, I don't need you two, I have the others." He balls his hands into a fist and leaps at Zenko to attack! However Tokugawa has an arrow set, his bow drawn, and he reacts to seeing the Monk move first...
Round 1 Initiative: Tokugawa 34, Masu 23 (Luck Used), Zenko 20, Hideo 17

I didn't use your Rank 1 Tech Tet, no need.
I'm not keen on making a map at this point. Masu is only 10feet from Zenko, 15ft from Hideo, and Tokugawa is 60ft away

Tokugawa growls, "I knew treachery would come," he says. "They are bad actors." The Mantis quickly has an arrow in the air, and follows with another flesh cutter, launching the second just moments after.

Round 1 Initiative: Tokugawa 34, Masu 23 (Luck Used), Zenko 20, Hideo 17

Masu balls his hands into a fist, and there is a whistling sound from the tree line. A *THUD* rings out as an arrow slams into Masu's chest. A second arrow, hot on the fletching of the first slams into Masu's chest a second time with a wet *THUD*. The monk's eyes go wide as he is thrown from his feet and lands on the ground, eyes closed, blood pooling out around him. Tokugawa is now visible in the near distance, his bow still quivering from the two rapid shots.

Tokugawa runs up toward the others after polishing off Masu. "Gather everyone's weapons. The others are surely to be attacked." He moves to the wagon himself, collecting his wakizashi as quickly as he can. He will also help gather the other samurai's weapons, knowing that Hideo will not be able to do so on pain of death.

Hideo looks around in shock at what had transpired. "Should I run to get the other's -sama's?" he asks the two, with a fairly nervous tone in his voice. It's clear the Hemin had intended on running as Masu stepped forward, though held back seeing the man fall.
Kijuro's weapons were wrapped in a blanket, I don't know if that is still cool or not for him to handle, but if somebody else grabs them he wouldn't argue.

As Kijuro's servant, I believe that Hideo could collect the wrapped weapons without causing problems, because he has been given premission previously by Kijuro. He might in normal serivice move a weapon rack with the weapon on it, or carry a bundle with them in it. He would not however handle the sayas or blade directly.
Tokugawa races forward and grabs the remaining weapons from the wagon not searched by Masu. The monk lays there bleeding out from the two arrow sticking up out of his chest. The weapons are collected and Hideo asks what he should do, ready to do as told.

"Grab your Master's weapons," Tokugawa says, not wanting to labor himself down with everything. He attempts to put most of it into his pack, so that he has his hands free to shoot again. As they ready to depart, Tokugawa stands over Masu and slams a foot down upon his throat, making sure the man is dead.

As the shugenja sees the Tsuruchi going for the killing blow, he yells, "No, you fool!" Lunging forward, he places his own body between that of the fallen Monk and the Mantis. "We cannot question him if he is dead! And all we are to the others are murderers, unless this man can be questioned." He waits until he is sure the Tsuruchi has backed down, before bending and wrapping the wounds of the Monk, keeping him from death. Not enough to bring him back to consciousness, but enough to keep him from bleeding out. He will get answers from this filth if he has to dig it out with a blade.
