Nate is pretty far in his cups, but not so far as to be unable to recognize the desires of a warm bed and a willing woman. Traveling without a true home is a lonely road, and he is happy to have whatever companionship is offered. He makes it clear to the woman that he is back on the road after they make their travel arrangements, as he would hate to lead her on with a miscommunication or misunderstanding. He can harden his heart when in battle, after all, he was a soldier. But he has no stomach for harming an innocent, especially one that is showing such kindness and attention to him.

The gunslinger has quite a bit of extra pep in his step come the next day, and goes about helping with the supply logistics, both for the home town of Falcon's Hollow, and for their continued journeying.
Thanks for the Chapter, V! Good times. It was nice being able to save the town, and cycle the reward money back to them to do good for everyone. A real high note to go out on.

Lineos finds himself speaking to the locals during the night about his people, their plight, and the need for them to find a homeland. The locals are not as receptive to those ideas as they are to the rest of the party's victory in freeing the village from the ooze cult. Dregan the dwarf leader informs Lineos that his people should look elsewhere than Springwell or the Thornwood. He suggests Olfden or Falcon's Hollow to the north or maybe Thornkeep to the east, its closer to Malakir than Springwell is. Lineos gets the impression these people's gratitude only goes so far.

Nate rises late, he didn't get much sleep after all....
