Hand of the Deep: Round 2-3
Lineos quietly readies his longbow and nocks an arrow, just in case the plan does go awry. Lineos whispers, "Is this the best idea we have?"

Dreams whispers, "It's worth trying--the Baron was supposed to send support. And I don't how bright these creatures are."

"We just need to get close and on land." Torias whispers. "It might buy us some time while they figure it out. Row closer!"

Nate looks wide-eyed at the new path of deception, and hopes his expression doesn't give it all away. He tries to hold his firearm ... casually? He tries out an awkward smile, also hoping that is somehow reassuring that they're supposed to be here.

Hand of the Deep: Round 2-3
The Thrull that spoke before, with a thin neck and a spade shaped head skulks forward to the edge of the walkway looking at the boat as you row to the northern ramp. It speaks, not so much a hiss, but there is a warble to its voice, almost bird like, "Baron sends you? Good! Where are others of our kind?" It is searching you over, looking at you wounds and how wet you are, and its eyes land on the symbol and silver cord coiled up in the bottom of the boat as you beach the boat on the northern ramp.

As she lands the boat, Dreams says, "I'm afraid there were some complications and the other thrulls were killed." Which is true, if misleading. Mentally, she prepares for a fight to start, but perhaps they can continue to fool the evil creatures.

The bald dwarf cleric nods gavely to the others. Torias then gets out of the boat, waiting for the others to get out too. "So, what's the situation like here? We just arrived and do not have any recent information." He walks closer to the one that was talking. "Give us a quick update."

Nate carefully steps out of the boat, but stays next to it so the boat and the water are at his back. He focuses on keeping an eye on all the thrulls, in case one of them tries to get the jump on them.

Lineos steps off the boat, and following suit to Nate he tentatively stays with his back to the water and eyes towards the thrulls, he puts his bow away but keeps his hands by the handle of his katana.

Once the others are on land, Dreams steps out. She looks for some place to tie the boat up, trusting the others to protect her back for the moment. If there is no way to tie the boat up, she tries to improvise, taking the anchor out of the boat, setting it on the dock and piling rocks or whatever may be at hand on top of the anchor. She wants to ensure as much as she can that their ride is there when they need to leave.
