"You got it," says Wile. He moves out into the hallway and begins rigging the turbolift door with something.. but it will take some time.

In the meantime, Manh Toisao's lightsaber continues to flash. Using the Force to augment his attack, he swings at the Tuskan Raider in front of him. His blad flashes up, an arm falls on the floor; across - a leg falls to the ground, then it plunges through the creature's chest, the power of the Force infusing it, and a foot-long hole is blown in his thorax before he dies..
UTF battle strike 26. Attack 21. Hit for 35 damage!
The Devaronian shoots at Manh and another bold striks the Jedi's arm, wounding him.
Attack 20. Deflect 18. Fail. Hit for 8 dmg. Puts you at 29 HPs. That's a lucky Devaronian!
Manh...

Manh tries to refocus his battle skills as he's been shot twice by the bounty hunter. His rage begins to form and starts to come forward. Holding back his rage during lightsaber combat has never been a strong suit with the former padawan, one flaw which he was reprimanded more than once by the Jedi masters but later embraced by Jedi Master Bulq.

Spinning around as the Sandperson's arm and leg falls to the ground and he's thorax punctured by his lightsaber, he turns his attention to the Devaronian bounty hunter. "Your next" He says under his breath as he sets the Devaronian in his sights and begins to move out towards the bounty hunter with his lightsaber in hand.
Swift Action: Second Wind (heals 1/4 of full hp = 63 *. 25 = 15)

Standard Action: Fight Defensively (bonus for acrobatic skill for +5 dodge to reflex or +10 if no attacks), just until start of my next turn

Move Action: E, E, S, S, E, E, should be 2 squares away

The Devaronian realizes that, in a one on one fight, he's going to be sorely outmatched. Looking around, though, he understands he's about out of options. Reflexively, he shoots in Manh's direction but the shot goes wide.

Manh...
Attack 4+whatever.. I would miss
Sorry for the downtime. I have my desktop hooked back up to the internet, have all my resources available and am glad to be back with some SW gaming!

Manh embraces the adrenaline rush. His former Jedi master taught him to embrace the feeling and thrive on it's power and it's hard for him not to allow it's power to flow through him. Like many times before, he gives in allowing the adrenaline and excitement of combat to flow freely through him and gives in to the call.

The former Jedi padawan moves in closer and slashes his lightsaber across the Devaronian bounty hunter's torso and then in a single motion, he rotates around bringing another slash across the bounty hunter's mid-section.

Standard: Rapid Strike

Manh rushes forward towards the bounty hunter, but this Devaronian is slick and sidesteps the Jedi and his attack misses.
Attack 2 + 8 + 1 = 11. Miss. Battle strike was massive, adding 3d6 but you missed so sorry about that
The Devaronian backpedals and then fires, the shot again striking true as Manh is unable to deflect it.

Manh..
Withdraw 1 S. Attack 21, Deflect UTF was 1 so fail, hit for 3d8+1=20 dmg. You're now -1 down track. 24hps left.

Manh tries to steady himself once more. The rush and over power in his attacks made him sloppy and he couldn't land a single strike on the Devaronian. Now, a bit more in-tune with the force, he moves towards the bounty hunter and takes a more precise strike with his lightsaber.

The Devaronian didn't get to be in this position for no reason. He's learned to live and survive in the desert. More importantly, he's learned to hold his own in a fight: even against a lightsaber. He sidesteps the attack and again withdraws.
Attack 16, miss barely.. crazy condition track! Understand you can use 3 swift actions spread over multiple rounds in order to improve up condition track.
The Devaronian skirts the reflection pool and quickly lobs a concussion grenade in Manh's path, hopefully distracting him long enough to get away. The Jedi, however, avoids most of the blast and isn't much deterred by it.
Withdraw 1 S. Move 1/2 speed: E x 3. Throw stun grenade. Attack 11. Miss. Takes 1/2 stun damage (which is already halved) so this causes 4 dmg to HPs. You have 20 left

Manh tries to avoid the concussion grenade and is starting to get angered by his lack to finish off the Devaronain bounty hunter. He knows that the years of solitude and mediation has helped him focus his force and inner self, but it's also come at a loss of his fighting agility and focus versus real opponents. With the lack of Jedi sparring partners, he's beginning to think that his skills are beginning to slip.

After he clears his mind from the grenade attack, he begins to charge the bounty hunter, but at the last minute he slows down and tries to overwhelm him with multiple lightsaber strikes. He slashes across the Devaronian's midsection and then slashes in the opposite direction with his second strike.

The former Jedi padawan is winded and wounded. He knows that he won't win in a prolonged fight and they still need to escape the compound with the slaves.

Move: to D BH (3 squares? 4 squares)
Attack: Rapid attack vs DBH

figured that it's not a straight line for the charge :) need to get that improved charge feat :)

Manh is undettered and pursues his foe mercilessly. He dashes through the smoke of the cantina and his lightsaber flashes, wounding the Devaronian.
Swift action 1/3 to move up track. Move/attack. Rapid Strike 25. 3d8+6 dmg = 15
The Devaronian stands his ground and returns fire but misses.

From across the cantina is a sudden and loud BOOM!!! This is followed by screaming, blaster rifle shots, and then silence. Soon after, Wile's voice chirps over the com. "Good thing I stayed back here... Elevator just opened up and was ready to let out a load full of Bulba's goons. Doon't worry about them anymore.. they've gone to pieces. You about done? Any sign of the hostages?"

Manh tries his best not to be shaken from the blast behind him. His hopes that Wile is the blaster and not the blastee comes true when Wile's voice comes in over his commlink.

"Almost, just one more thing" he starts as he slashes again with his lightsaber in mid-sentence. His strike aims for the Devaronian's mid section once more hoping to render the bounty hunter incapacitated soon.

After his strike follows through, he continues speaking to Wile, "to finish, then we can move forward with the plan."
